Essentially the same experience as 'Stay at home Mom'.  When she initially called, she indicated their company was Rainbow and when I called back she answered the phone as Kleen Air.  Also, on the initial phone call she wanted my address to mail our prize (dinner and movie tickets or 2 night's stay in a hotel), and when I called back she asked whether I had booked an appointment.  When I asked why, she said they usually deliver the prize.  I said that was not what was communicated on the initial phone call.  She said that I won the prize in a draw for having completed an online survey about allergens back in the Fall.  I told her that was not the case, and that I had never completed such a survey.  She got angry, told me to relax, told me I should not call her with an attitude, and hung up on me.

Received a call early afternoon.  Was told by the rep my name had been entered in to a draw for completing a telephone survey (something I do frequently, so I wasn't surprised - but after thinking about it further I don't recall answering a survey about allergies...) and my name was pulled as a winner.  I had to choose between two options.  A vacation package or dinner and a movie.  She advised they wanted to deliver my prize at my earliest convenience and asked if I was available in about an hour.  I said yes. She then asked if my husband was home.  I told her no.  She said they didn't want to send a man to my house without my husband home so we rescheduled. About an hour before I expected them to arrive I got a call (from the same number) asking if they could come earlier.  I said yes.  Again, she asked if my husband would be here.  I told her no.  She then said she wouldn't be able to come until we were both here.  I asked her why.  She said they needed a household opinion.  I asked her to elaborate.  She said I had to do a survey before I received the "prize".  When I explained what I was led to believe from the first rep she started giving me the run around, immediately became agitated and pushy.  In the end, she hung up on me.  Essentially, regardless of what you are told AVOID these people!!!  Their deceptive marketing strategies are absolutely shameful.  If they're banking on "word of mouth" advertising they need to ensure that people are satisfied with any/all interactions with company reps.

I had someone call me, saying I'd been to a "home show" in Barrie (which I cannot remember doing) and that I was one of their "grand prize winners", something about either a trip or movie passes.  I said okay fine then go ahead and mail it to me and she started asking when my husband and I would be home and since I've worked in telemarketing and know the jig is up when they insist on coming to my house, I said no, having someone come to my house is not an option, and she gave up pretty quickly.  So I can only assume this is a scam or one of those places that is just trying to wedge their foot in my front door.  No thanks!

This number keeps calling acting like they know us and only ask for us by first name.  Then tells me that they only want to ask my spouse about a Mary and someone else.  Doesn't company know it is against the law to  - E-personation and not clearly identify themselves!!!  STOP Calling

They claimed I filled out a coupon and as a consolation award wanted to give me 8 free movie passes and 2 large pizzas for free!!!  Who can afford something for free in this kind of economy.  Claims they were calling from Barrie, Ontario "Rainbow Water filter system"  wanted to set up an appointment to deliver the coupons and show a demonstration and through word of mouth she claimed this is how they advertise.  I got a Web site from the Tori the caller www.rainbowsystems.com
