I got a call from this number on 3/08/2014 and they asked for Edward, not my name and not the name of anyone in my family. After I said it was the wrong number the person kept saying they would talk to me instead since they "had me on the line' would go ahead and send free topical pain cream... thats a new one for me. I told them I wasnt interested and he kept going on and on about pain cream. I asked that they not call back and he hung up.

If your Debt is older than 6 years ( in ontario) you can advise them that the debt is "stat barred" and you are instructed to cease further calls.. They have to stop.

This number keeps calling, it's a robot now and no longer a person.  Started off by saying my husband owed money for some debt 18 yrs ago, a woman called several times a day and she was extremely rude.  My husband told her she was full of it but she remained insistent.  Finally when asked for some documentation we were told we needed to make a minimum payment toward the debt, $5 was enough.  No, any payment accepts responsibility for a debt, no stupid here.  The calls continue to this day, but now it's a robot who asks you to press a number if you are the named person and a different number if you need to go get them, and a different number if you need to take a message.  It's harassing beyond words!  Not only can they not come after someone for a debt so long ago, they can't demand payment without proof.  The worst part?  We've never defaulted on any payment or loan of any kind.  Scam.

I got a call from this number last week. Called back and it wasn't even a collections company not that me or my husband owe any collections companies so be careful of someone using this number..

Getting several calls a day at least once a week for the past few weeks from this number.  I have tried answering and no one says anything and when it goes to voice mail they don't leave a message.  WTF

Get a new number; then make sure your number is dncl (de listed for the national calling list) or if you have a cell phone; get a samsung or blackberry where they have apps to block the number

I guess it will happy eventually that Credit is a door to big Cash....Regardless these company are legal or not; its just another way of scam money out of the good working people. To put it right, its a price to be good, where you will have to pay for a service to protect your credit.  Funny cause you personal info suppose to be private but somehow; is info that can be purchase for companies.

They do  not leave a message, but constantly call.  They at one point left 3 messages for a person I have never heard of.

I started getting calls from them at home, which is an automated voice and a number to call them back.  I don't think so!!  If you can't talk to me after I say hello.. then forget it!  They haven't referenced any outstanding bill or even who they want to talk too!  Oh!  They also called my work - stating we had an outstanding bill.  I told them we can't pay it unless we have a copy of it - no phone calls after that.. which made me HIGHLY suspicious.

I've been getting calls from this number every morning before 8am, sometimes later in the day, on my cell phone which has limited contacts. Usually I ignore these calls because I use "pay as you go" on my phone and will not waste money answering them. I already looked up the number and knew it was a telemarketer. This morning they called again and considering its my day off and I like to sleep in a bit, I was annoyed and answered the call. A young woman came on the line and started asking me a bunch of generic questions...I said I was getting tired of the constant calls, I knew what kind of company they were and would they stop calling me!!! She started getting an attitude and asked to speak to a different person. I said that was BS because I've had this cell # for years! I again told her to stop calling this #, take it off their calling list I was getting pissed off. Before I could say anything else she said, "well, enjoy the calls!" and hung up. If it wasn't long distance for me I'd be calling them on an hourly basis just to annoy them!!!!  I'm getting tired of getting calls from so-called telemarketers and scammers and have had both my phone #'s on the Canada Do Not Call List when it first came out....still getting unsolicited calls!!!!! This has got to stop!!

the first time I called back, they said they were ARC, then they said they were another collection agency. The number you call from pops up on their computers and so if they ask for your number don't give it to them as they can already see it. I was told my name was unpronouncable and that my last name was "Yoo". Well here's the thing, my name is very common, very pronouncable and my last name is not "Yoo". I told them that there is a Do Not Call List in Canada and they said that doesn't exist. Then someone else said it doesn't apply to them - yet they constantly call me and they have also tried to sell me computers before. So I have no doubt that they are soliciting/harassing me and I have filed a complaint and told them that I will contact the police if they continue to call.

*Watch out when you speak to them as they try and railroad you, and they treat you like a 5yr old and have no concept of what soliciting means. They have no right to call and they need to be shut down.

**The number they called from: 1-705-805-0820. I was passed to the manager, left a message for them not to call me every again, and then he called me under a "private" number. So this is very fraudulent - don't verify any information.

S.O.B's have called me every day for over a month now saying I have unpaid traffic fines totaling $5200 some how they know my full name address and phone number the funny part is I have never had a drivers licence or traffic fines nor have I ever been to traffic court and pled guilty like there stating.

I reported this to the Better Business Bureau and so far all calls have stopped.

I've had problems being inundated with such calls to a landline I had a couple years ago. I also recently received a similar call on my current cell number which I've only had for 6 months. Automated calls were going to my answering machine on the landline on almost a daily basis. I cursed and swore and ignored them for a few months before I finally got fed up and called back. It turned out they were collectors. They weren't looking for me but rather the previous holder of the number. When I explained that the individual no longer had that number they said they'd remove it from their records. The calls quickly stopped. Same on the cell. Recently I had an automated message left asking to call back and refer to a reference number. Given the landline experience I did call back. Same thing. They were looking for the previous holder of the number, in this case a now defunct carpet cleaning company. I explained that the number no longer was held by that company and that I suspected that company was out of business given the number of calls I receive inquiring about cleaning carpets. They apologized and said they would remove it from their records.

I  also got  many calls from above number, and the caller kept saying that I owe large sum of money in credit card which back dated 1998, and I know that I have never used any credit card for very large amount. If anyone receives these types of calls complain to government, and police for harassing you. All they need is to hear yes from you( owe), And then you will get stuck with them and they will ruin your credit. So be careful, and do not talk, and hang up the phone and call police and government, and make sure you get the name of the caller, and his/her Licence number.

Yeah, recognizable behavior of collectors - insistent calls and no messages - they usually want to talk and harass? Ignore if you can.
