Ive gotten a few calls, apparently it's GM Financial because someone used me as a reference when they got a car.  They are trying to verify contact info.

I got one also from them. I let my phone ring and then I got a voicemail saying my name was used as a personal contact and verification reference and to call 18779949119 and to give a reference number. A listing from 800notes.com claims it's from GM Financial in Canada. If someone is using my name without my asking I don't appreciate it.

It appears to be a number from Peterborough Canada.  No idea who.

This number has been showing up on my child's cell. Similar to above, no message, but repeatedly calling.
I will block the number on all our family phones and not worry about it.

I've had a couple of calls from this number. I didn't answer. They left no message.
