trying to sell me a warranty for my car

I received a call from this number.  I did not answer because I did not recognize the number.  Few people have my number and they are all in my contact list.  I attempted to call the number back and a recording said it was no longer in service or a bad number and I should check my number and dial again.

This is getting stupid, I got a call from this number on my vonage VoIP. called did not leave a message, I am in a combat zone for crying out loud.

WHY AM I GETTING CALLS ON NEW CELL PHONE FROM THIS NUMBER????I HAVE NO BUSINESS OR ACQUAINTANCES THIS AREA CODE...MY PHONE IS FOR EMERGENCIES-FAMILY ILLNESS, I DON'T WANT TO GET THESE NUISANCE PHONE CALLS WHILE WORKING, DRIVING, ETC. HOW TO GET MY NUMBER OFF THEIR LIST????

Buddy, if I'm broken down on the side of the road in my '77 Plymouth, I seriously doubt if some fake car warranty is going to do me any good.

I find it interesting that you have the money to blow on something as useless as one of those "complete background checks" you can order off the internet.  

If you were at all intelligent you could have used your money toward a downpayement to initiate your warranty coverage.

I wish you all good luck when you're broken down on the side of the road.  Maybe then you'll think twice about ignoring your chance to keep your vehicle covered.

I'm always getting these random phone calls from various
numbers. I'm beginng to think At&t is selling my number! What phone service does everyone else have? Hmm. I always check random numbers online before returning calls from random numbers. I'll report this number as well

This Jack Kirk fellow called me couple of times, not leaving a message nor telling what he actually wanted. I do not know anyone in Dalton, GA nor did this seem to be an accidental wrong number due to many calls and to many reports of this number. All in all this has all the characteristics and looks like a scam where also Google Maps indicates this address is not commercial address, nor is a legitimate registered business as it does not show up in US business registry, just seems to be harassment or collection of your information for dishonest purposes.

So I bought the complete background check info for this address and owners of this number, including nation wide criminal report, for $49.99, asked the details of these phone calls from my phone operator, which noted that this number is in service and not disconnected unlike the automated answer message states, and printed out the details. Now incase this Jack fellow keeps calling for nothing, I have these ready to be sent for the feds to crack down another harassment and phone scam down. Pity to waste two stamps for this muppet though.

Getting to be super annoying, these idiots don't stop.  Latest call was 9 Jun...7:55 p.m.  Georgia #.  I'm going to complain officially.  I hate telemarketers.

This is a scam, I never had a car warranty

This call facades itself in saying that you are out of warranty on your vehicle.  They never say the company name.  You hit one to get to an operate to explain that you are not, and they merely hang up on.

I find nothing specific on Jack Kirk (except he is a deceased actor ..same name)

When I chose one to explain that I purchased a new vehicle, this "b---h" simply hung up on me.

Got the call 6pm pst. Called back: This number is disconnected.

i get the same thing as everybody else...something about warranty..pre-recorded msg...when call back, the number is out of service..It's very annoying...

I got two calls the same from a 505 and 303 area code about a month ago, called back and out of service message.  On this one i ran it on google and it gives a name and address, I got this call at 4:51pm 6/9/08

The phone number called me on my cell phone.  They did not leave me a message. I have gotten calls from this same number several times before.

Could you post the address so we can know where it's coming from? I will be reporting this number, hope others do too. This is very annoying.

These guys use a very simple program that "fools" your caller ID with a number they feel like showing you next time they will call you from another area and phone number. It sucks that they can do it but they do.

Complaint type: "Telemarketing, Prerecorded Messages and Do-Not-Call" and then

Complaint category: "Live telemarketing calls (including Do-Not-Call), prerecorded messages, advertising text messages, unsolicited commercial emails, 'Abandoned Calls', or 'War Dialing' received on a wireless phone"

I missed a call from that number and googled it to see who it was and then I hear this, I wish I would have answered causse I don't own a vehicle I live in the city. It would have been funny, to see how they back track or just hang up

it is 6:55pm i just got a 1/2 a ring on my phone so i called it back and i got the same message everyone else is getting that it is disconnected.  how is that possible, i mean if they called me then wouldnt have to be in service??  does anyone know if this is some kind of scam to hack in you phone line or something?? i dont know but im tired of it calling my phone.

Just received a call from this phone number a few minutes ago.  I did not recognize it so I did not answer it. For an out-of-service phone, it sure is being used by someone!

Jack Kirk huh? I got the call at 4:30ish. Some person in Dalton, Georgia which is 300 miles from where I live.

"warranty services division" , the 2nd attempt etc as stated with a lot of people and has just started in the last month or so. I pushed 1 to talk to a rep and asked them their company name and location, she said she was hanging up and did so.

Just recieved a call from this number...my daughter answered and said he was talking crazy that a storm was coming, when I answered he hung up.

This guy just called my cell as well I googles the number it came up as Jack Kirk his address is 429 Morningside DR. Dalton GA 30721. 706-226-2381 I have no idea how he got my cell #.

same, got the call, I pressed 1 and it hung up. My car's warranty just got extended to 8 years, obviously a scam.

Just got a call from this number, I pressed the option to renew the so called "warranty" and after a brief hold on the line, a person came on the line, I asked what this was for, he said it was to renew the warranty on my vehicle, I asked him which vehicle he was calling about, and he kept dodging the question with a generic "your vehicle, you know?".  I kept asking, "which vehicle am I renewing" and he finally hung up on me. This is a scam, please beware.

I too got the same message when i tried to call the number back. "This number is no longer in service".
