I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST, but I still get calls from "Unknown" or "Out of the Area".  It is annoying because it runs me to the phone or interrupts my sleep.  My husband is ill, and I would appreciate only IMPORTANT calls.

started getting calls from them on Dec 10th & they called 4 times, 1 time on Dec 11th,  4 times Dec 12th & already called at 9:12 am today (Dec 13th) ~ have not answered any of the calls; they have left no messages!!! this is very ANNOYING!!!! I am going 2 report this number to the FTC!!!

Have received calls from this number 7 times in two days.  They let it ring until the machine picks up, but have yet to leave a message.  I have a do-not-call number, lot of good that does!!

I get this number 4-5 times a day. Perhaps we should urge Congress to provide long prison sentences, like 25 to life, for those who violate the DNC list. Maybe that would put a stop to these illegal calls. I don't know if it's a coincidence but when I lived in New york the DNC list worked just fine. Now that I'm living in Michigan I've been inundated with scam calls.

ALL week we received phone calls from 706-251-8002 and they left no messages.  Yesterday they called every hour stopped around 2 and started back up at 5PM.   Nothing today.  Thank you glad its about magazines, we don't get any.  We only pick up  the phone for phone numbers we know, but thank you so much for all the info everyone.  

Six calls on my Caller ID just for today from 706-251-8008 - no messages.  The total for this week is around 20.  I don't answer and don't intend to.  I have been on the DNC list for a long time but it doesn't seem to work very well.

I receive up to and including 5 calls a day from this pesky call center.  Please remove  my name and number immediatly!! Also they call 7am Sundays and up to 11pm at night, pretty sure this is NOT legal, from any "Call Center"!!!!!

Calls 6-7 times a day never leaves a message. When I do pickup they never say anything.

Called twice today didn't leave a message the first time and said nothing when I answered the second time. I will file a complaint on the DNC website with the number, date and time for each call.

this number calls my cell phone daily! I thought telemarketing to cell phones was illegal??

Five calls from this number yesterday.  Three calls so far today.  No message.

Yet another call from these people - nobody at the other end.

Now I'm wondering if all these folks get their numbers off the DNC list. How do I get off the DNC list?

The DNC does do its job and works just fine! It does what it was meant to do. People tend to really misunderstand how it works and generally do not understand that the DNC does not protect you from the scams,frauds,extortionists and the unscrupulous nasty's that refuse to obey laws. Charity's and political, along with some survey's are exempt from this.  Most of those will place you on the their internal DNC if asked though and there is a political DNC (it works very well too I might add) list you can sign up with.  

Complaints filed with the DNC and other agency's are used to establish a pattern, then they can take action. They do make busts, they do fine them, and they do make arrests. You also need to realize that some of these bad actors are located in foreign country's and then their government has to work with ours. Slow it may be, but it does happen!

The more complaints filed, the more info they have to go on!

The DNC list works great!  Once on it you KNOW that every "telemarketer" that calls is actually a CROOK!  That's right!  Legitimate telemarketers won't call. But CROOKS will!  At least now you know which ones are calling to try to scam you.

I saw this number (706-251-8008) on our Caller ID and was waiting for them to leave a message, but my husband picked up and told me there was someone on the phone about my magazine.  I haven't gotten magazines for almost four years now and they wanted to know if I have been continuing to receive my Ladies Home Journal.  When I told them I don't receive it, they hung up. guess my number will get passed along for more telemarketers.  I've been on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY since 2010, it doesn't work.  

Boy they must want to sell magazines!   From November 5 to the 8th they called me 10 times.  I never pick up and I never will..

Called my child's unlisted private cell number. They must be child molesting perverts. If they call again, I'm filing stalking and harassment charges against them.

Received 1 call from 706-251-8008 and another from706-805-1775 and another from 877-549-7447 within half an hour none have left messages.  Am on the do not call list either. What's up with that. Some kind of scam I am sure.

I know...I am also on the do not call list, but get solicited every stinking day!  Maybe the do not call list is also a scam.  They sure aren't do me any favors
