I got this message just now and googled the number to find this page. Glad I did. I added them to my Verizon block list. Now I'm done with them.

Same exact thing happened to me! After they told me their phone was going to die, I called the number and found it's a Free Text number. I got really pissed off and told them that they were full of s*** and was blocking their number. Also told them they had the wrong person even though it wasn't true because I didn't know if it was someone I knew or not harrassing me. The area code they texted from traces back to Georgia...I don't know how they know my name but I hope they catch this person...or spammer.

I go the same type of message as described above:(  They knew my name and when I said Hi who is this they replied " Do you use Yahoo IM? Cuz I'm me my username is txtflirty58"  I wrote back and asked who is this and I got "sorry my I Phone is going to die!!! "   GRRRRRR :(

Security company Cloudmark created a spam messaging reporting service that nation?s major wireless carriers agreed earlier this year to start using. Now, customers of AT&T Mobility, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint and others can forward their text spam message to 7726. The mobile phone carrier will ask customers for the phone number that?s linked to the spam message so they and Cloudmark can start investigating.

this person is texting me and not responding. come to find out they are doing it to others. when you call its textplustexting spam. they wont stop

This number is from free text plus.com; i blocked my home phone number and called it and thats what it said, thats creepy.
