They called themselves Global Media and have thick accents. Totally annoyed with me for asking to spell their name (Belle Thomas), asking their company name, and why they wanted to speak with our Marketing Director. Said it was for an Executive Marketing Summit, but when I asked when it was, she got SUPER annoyed with me and started to patronize me. I asked her not to talk to me that way and she hung up on me. This is about the 3rd call like this, but the other two were from another number. They hung up on me too when I started asking questions.

These guys are total idiots.  He said that my computer was about to crash permanently and I needed him to allow him to access my computer to fix the problem.  He had no idea what kind of computer I owned, but he seem to know all about an alleged problem I was about to be facing.

When I told him that I was registered with the US Gov DO NOT CALL LIST, he said no problem and hung up.

I would recommend that NOBODY LET THESE PEOPLE TO ACCESS YOUR COMPUTER REMOTELY......DANGEROUS!!!!!!!

Got a call from this number soon after getting a call from PACIFICTEL, which I already had setup to block by name.  I let it go to the answering machine, and no message was left.

Since my blocker sends out the three SIT tones (not a working number) for blocked numbers and names, I'm guessing they spoofed another number to see if my phone really is a non-working number.

I've NEVER received a legitimate call from anyone who's Caller ID Name is a city and state, so I classify all of them as attempted fraud and add them to my block list.  I suggest you do the same.
