Just got two calls. Nobody answered when i picked up and no messages left.

I am getting number of these calls on company cell phone.They never leave a message.

I received a call from this number Friday regarding bogus car warranty.  When I called back today, got Verizon message that the # has been disconnected.

They were trying to sell auto warranty, when I asked to put me on the do not call list, he just laughed.

I just recieved this call, and i pressed 1 to tell the person that they called the wrong number, because i get called alot from people meaning to call others.  I got the call at exactly 9:00 too, as I see some others of you have.  Is something going to happen to my phone??

I am putting this number for DNA to see who this is, Hopefully i find out who this caller is.

I have recieved a call from same number, I didn't answer, After i checked to see if he or she left a message, Now my phone even doesn't work, It say the caller is from GA,

yeah leaves message all the time about "this is the second notice that your car warrenty has expired"..... ummmmm... I don't have a car!???

Recieved a phone call from 706-844-1241, did not recognize phone number, so i do not answer.  No idea who it was, left no voice mail.  Looked up the area code and found out from serveral cities in Georgia, USA.

call my cell let my phone go to voice message got no message.So I called from my
house phone it said invalid number check number and dial again so I did and this time someone pickup and hang up when I say hello.So I just did not called them back. I get calls like this all the time but from different numbers.So I guess I just won't answer any phone number I don't have in my phone as with caller ID.

Just got a call from this number earlier.  I didn't pick up but when I *67 the number back, it says press 1 to be put on 'do not call list'.  Which doesn't work because it seems that message only comes on when I do a blocked call.  I tried calling without block to one of their other numbers (I believe it showed Pennsylvania on Caller ID) and I just received a silent noise.  Two minutes after hanging I get another call, this time from Tennessee.  I didn't pick up and when I called block to that number, it said the same: press 1 one to be taken off do not call list.

Lesson: Do not call these numbers back, as they will know you pick up and will try to call you again from another location or number.

Left no message, when dialing back kept getting told it was an invalid call and to please try again.

get these calls right at 9:00 pm...no message,,,got one tonight. worried me becuase no one calls me from that area code.glad to see it here and that you all tracked it down.

ive received numerous calls from this number as well as 706-844-1242.  I've also received similar calls from various other numbers from different states.  Ive added them all to my phone under D.N.A. for Do Not Answer, this won't help but at least ill know when not to answer.

Got a call from this number and when i tried to call back it just said "press 1 to be put on the do not call list" They never answer! and also i have gotten a call from these people before and it is a scam!!! they say that the warrenty on my car is going to expire but I know for a fact it is not!!! by car is new!!!!

i got a call from this number . they sell extended warranty on your car. i have received probably 15 calls about extended warranty. when I tired to ask the caller for the name of the company" she started by sayingsaying" WORLDWIDE...... whenI could not understand and asked again. she hanged up

caller ID showed as CORP OFFICE1

filed a complaint with FTC as I am on DO NOT CALL LIST

Showed up as "Rome" in "GA" on my caller ID.  Let it go to voicemail but didn't leave a message.

Called and then hung-up. left no mesage,Corp office 1 was what came up on the Id

Yup - got one on the 12th also - this is a new number from an old scammer I bet

Got a call on my cell phone showing up as 216-862-1985.  Talked to a female and asked who I was talking to, she refused to answer and kept asking for my name.  I told her my name a few times and finally told her that I have given her my name and it was time for her to give me hers since she was calling me. She hung up on me.

Does anybody know who this number belongs to or who this person works for?

They usually do not identify themselves, asking only for the make, model, year, and VIN number of your automobile as well as your name, address, and phone number. They repeatedly make cold calls from different phone numbers regardless of being told to stop. One representative made the mistake of naming the company "Warranty Solutions" before following what is apparently company protocol and hanging up when the recipient does not immediately hand over the information.

REPORT TO THE BBB AND ATTORNEY GENERAL.

You're lucky if you've gotten someone to talk to you - everytime I stay on the line, they hang up on me when I ask who it is or what the company name is.  Thanks for the info about contacting State - I'll do that.

Has anyone gone the full length of the conversation? Giving them extended false information and seeing what happens?

I'm thinking of setting up a dummy bank account to give to them so I can bust them even further.

Called five times in a row at around 8: pm I did not answer and they hung up when my answering machine pick up.

you can call back and press one to get off there "do not call list" as many times as you want, but it really doesnt matter though because they keep switching numbers using the same lists my phone has gotten about 10 or so calls from them from about 8 or so different numbers

calls harrassing my and my fiance'. cal back and there is a message to be place on a call list from this number
