I concur with this post. I called one of these outfits just for fun long ago, and I've been getting these type of calls ever since. You can actually have some fun with them if you're in the mood. My favorite thing to do is lead the guy on and make him think I'm a potential customer (read: sucker) all the while I will attempt to coax a blast of flaulence from my bowels, which I then expel into the mouthpiece of the phone.

It is a sports gambling company. This happens if you ever answer one of those gambling ads that are advertised on the radio saying "free info for tonight’s winner." I did unfortunately a long time ago and they continue to call. What happens is they give 50% of the callers a "winner" on one game and the other 50% the opposite teams "winner" just in case. Then they sell your info to hundreds of other sports gambling companies. Someone will then call you back (most of the time he sounds like an "Italian" or he is from Jersey or New York but no offense to you all, it is what it is) and say they have more information on more game "winners" if you pay a huge fee. Normally they have you talk to the "boss" and he supposedly talks to you for a couple minutes to "determine" if he wants to work with you. Then you fork out a ton of money for their information. Just don't do it. These companies come and go a lot and there is nothing you can do. Don't answer the ads. If you do you might as well change your number because every other one will call. I have made a ton of money other ways. If you still want to gamble this way. Good Luck!

It's actually "grammar" with an A. And for someone who's quite a Nazi, you should check for hypocrisy before posting :)

This number keeps calling my main work line, I called this number back and they asked me if I wanted to bet on sports. I told them that we were a private country club and that we were not betting on sports. In the middle of my asking them to remove our number, the man hung up on me. Very rude and unprofessional....and illegal?

agree with ryan. Its a sports related agency. I requested my number to be removed and they said it would be 24 hours. I did ask if there were other numbers that they call from and was told that this number is the only one used by the computer.
