pesty renewal energy. won't take no for an answer!

Two times a day every day.  No body there.   And nothing can be done to stop this madness.  Have received 12 calls a day from various citys   its terrible

Kyle (post) is right - nothing stops these guys.  The bad news?  They have multiple numbers and you can only block so many, at least with my carrier. The one time they answered I asked them to put me on the 'do not call' list and the guy became rude and persisted, saying "don't you want to hear about our product?"  NO - I DON'T!

So, fight them with a dose of their own medicine!  Loud whistles or piercing screams are nice.  Or, just don't hang up and go about your business, tying up their line for awhile.  I just hang up without saying anything or let machine answer--- they NEVER leave a message.  Got a few minutes?  Mess with them, and think of a creative but bogus entity to answer with, like "Smith's Funeral Home".

I received numerous calls from this number even on weekends.  When I answered and said "Hello", there was no response.  I'm blocking future calls from this number.

The "National Renewable Energy Center" is a telemarketing front for A1 Solar Power, a solar company with several branches throughout California.

This same company, under multiple numbers, has called more than 300x total  Twice a day, 3 to 4x per week. Fling complaints using their various numbers on the "do not call" website does no good. Filing FCC complaint forms does no good. Asking to be placed on their "do not call" list does no good. Blocking their Caller ID number does no good.  Tracing their calls using a phone company's "Caller Trace" service does no good.

To the people here saying "be nice to them, they are just trying to make a living and do their jobs": these people are criminals and work for a blatantly criminal enterprise that regularly, continually and whole-heartedly violates the law and attempts to steal your money and identity..  Would you "be nice" to your mugger or a robber in your home?  They deserve any and all scorn or abuse that can be heaped upon them which will, hopefully, one day, cause them to choose a different line of work.

To quote Kyle Reese in "The Terminator" movie::

These guys call multiple times a day.  I did catch one "marketer" once and she wanted to turn me over to a "Technician" who would "explain" how much they could save me on PG&E bills. She was pretty persistent but finally gave up when I mentioned the Do Not Call list. (I understand these outfits have an autodialer that calls 1200 numbers at a time and routes the first answer to a Marketer while the rest get hung up on)  I once did have one company's "technician" come out to evaluate a Solar System for me. While he didn't even look at the technical aspects, he did try and sell me a system that was "only" $10,000 more than such a system should cost.  That plus interest = a tidy sum. It's no wonder they are haunting us daily or hourly for our business.

Same problem.  Call multiple times a day, when I did finally answer, they are trying to sell solar.  I said I was not interested and asked to be taken off the list.  The man said "NO" and hung up on me.  Still calling multiple times a day, when I do answer no one answers or they hang up.  I searched whitepages.com and found the number is associated with Bandwidth.  I called and they confirmed this number and 707-200-4189 are registered with them. I filed a complaint against this number with the person I spoke with and she also directed me to the home page, and at very bottom, select "Legal".  Once you get to the legal page select "click here to report an AUP concern".  You have to fill out some basic info, not sure if it will go anywhere, but am hopeful if enough people file a complaint with this company then they will do something.

I receive two calls daily between 8:30 and 9:00 am. I answer the phone and there is no one there.....long long pauses then I hang up. I try to call the number back and it says it's been disconnected.  How do I stop these calls? They wake me!!!!!!  

good for you !  I just filed a complaint with the FTC.  This is ridiculous.

I have just filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission asking them to do something about these people that are harassing so many people.  I gave them the phone number from Santa Rosa, CA.

It's A1 Solar Power trying to sell solar panels.

I want these people to stop calling, they call 10plus times a day.  Out of Santa Rosa, CA, something about saving money on utilities.  If you try to call their number back, there is no such phone number, you can only receive their calls.  I had to hang up on them since he wouldn't respect that I wanted them to take my # off their list.

This #%*!@ SOLAR company called us 5 times yesterday & once today.

This company has called us 161 times under 13 other numbers.

Under the names PETALUMA, ST HELENA, SUISAN CITY & SANTA ROSA.

So, this number just called me and there was a woman who kept saying hello, hello?  When I asked them to stop calling and said "can you hear me?", this male voice said "shut up, bi***".  I guess he heard me.  

These people call several times a day and if you don't answer they hang up and leave no message  I finally answered today and the guy told me my rates were going up and then wanted to know some personal info   I told him not to call again and they called back about an hour later    I told them again not to call again   we'll see what happens  

Answer no one responds. Very annoying they call multiple times a day. When I called the number back I get no longer in service

Some guy named Mike called at 9 this morning. He was a real jerk, said he was calling from the energy center.  I told him that my husband works late and to please not call my house this early.  He was really snotty and said businesses can call people starting at 8am.  He was calling me by my prior married name from four years ago and also asked for my son who hasn't lived with me for 7 years. I also asked him why he felt the need to be so rude and he said I was the rude one and that's when I hung up.

They call at least 4 times per day every day of the week. When I finally answer to give them hell, there's silence on the other side and then they hang up. Once there were voices in the background so I tried to tell them it was a business line and to stop calling and they hung up on me. This is terrorism!!!

A1 Solar Power's telemarketing front ("National Renewable Energy Center" is just *one* of their names) has the same modus operandi.

I received a call today at 9 am. No one Answered on their end. Same situation as all the complaints . Different numbers calling.

Just what do they think they will accomplish by harassing people daily?  This is the biggest batch of morons yet. How can they even be making any money to pay these idiots that continue to call?

I have been getting harassed by these calls as well. Lots and lots. I just offered the caller $50 cash to tell me who they work for and where they are located. She got so flummoxed she terminated the call. Eventually someone will give it up, or they'll report it and I'll be off the list.

See the information posted by Dave about 707-200-7673.  It's the same people.  He provides a name, address, and phone number of these clowns - Hot Solar Inc.   If everyone starts calling them and complaining, they may get the message.  There are federal laws against these kinds of calls.

Calls several times a day. Doesn't leave message. When I pick up, hangs up.

I have had many calls from this number. I answered once and got the solar system spiel and said no thank you, but they kept calling, at least once a day. We kept ignoring. Finally I answered again, human voice after the pause and click and told them never to call again and hung up. They keep calling! I answered this morning, and a guy said never mind. They just called again. I have reported them to the FTC, but they probably can't help. Getting very annoyed.

They call me every day in the afternoon, claiming to be helping PG&E customers with high utility bills, offering to come analyze your home for installation of solar. They won't stop calling, no matter how many times I scream, and are often rude. They say their sponsor name so fast I can't make out what "company" they represent.

Just received a call from this number.  Didn't answer, no message, then blocked contact after reading these posts.  Been getting lots of similar 707 calls

Robocalls from this number are relentless and no messages are left.

Number has been disconnected when return call is made.
