I bought one of these that will block up to 1200 numbers and it works awesome.

Not only is this number a scam, but if you get one with area code 786 (miami, florida) it is th same bunch of a***ipes.  Called me the other morning at 4 am, and i am not a happy camper!  But, I think the best thing to do is just not answer, as someone said if they get a live person then they will keep calling.

Criminal scammers. This is how they work. They buy 'live' phone numbers from some other deadbeat and run their own scam to try to trick you into buying worthless or useless products or services. They'll keep calling via a robot-dialer system until they get through. They don't leave any message because they want a voice on the line to respond to the call. If, after a certain number of tries, they don't get you on the line, they give up and then sell your number to the next criminal in line who will do the same thing. If you've noticed, just when one creep gives up on you, almost seemlessly, along come a new one with a different number. This way they beat the Do Not Call Registry, (which is a complete waste of time, invented by the government to give you a false sense of security. There has never ever been one single prosecution via the Do Not Call Registry. It was designed to get consumers and citizens off the necks of your government representatives so they can say they've done 'something' about the millions of complaints. It is total BS, they've done absolutely nothing). The best thing to do is simply not pick up whenever a number you don't recognise, or obscures the caller ID calls you. It is probably coming from a 'boiler room' . DON'T PICK UP or respond. You cannot win anyway. If you pick up they'll know they have a live person to run their game on, then SELL your number to other creeps.

the call came from napa,ca. Note it was a hang up each time . so far 4x

Answered, no reply. Got a voicemail automated response from calling them back, left an angry message.

Tried to report it to AT&T and they "couldn't do anything to help" except sell me on some bs protection plan that still can't officially reject callers. "Just ignore it" was their final solution. Ridiculous on everyone's account.

Call Verizon to report unwanted calls from this number - Verizon Unlawful Call Center, 1-800-257-2969, Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.  I'm done with this loser.

this mo'fo' has dropped the same no answer on my number also, so this pr ick isn't done yet! If you answer, no one speaks-if you don't they leave no message. Tomorrow I'm calling the DA's office and file on this sumbeaotch!

I have seen this number on my caller ID multiple times.  They always call around the same time, which is during the 7-8pm hour (pst) They never leave a message.  The ID only says California and when I searched it it comes up as being in Napa, CA but that is all.  If anyone figures it out please post it.
