This guy Jack Payton is calling me, my mothers house and worse of all my place of employment! If I owe money for something tell me what it is! Also contact my lawyer, they leave in their messages.Believe me I will and guess what I am going to sue you for harassment! Is this legal what these people are doing? And where do they get your name and phone numbers to all these people they contact?

Jack Peyton can suck it! I imagine this call is regarding a credit card I had when I was 19 and broke in college...I'll be 34 this summer. Not happening....and yes, thank *gawd* for the statue of limitations.

Received a call on my cell phone from Jack Payton for an account that is NOT mine! telling me to have my husband call him..when I asked him what company is this he said he was with MRC??

Mr. "Jack Peyton" called me to say that I owe a balance on an account that was never mine to begin with. He wanted proof to show that I am who I am - not going to happen.

Even if it wasn't paid, it would be past the statute of limitations and it's too small of an amount to bother suing for. You don't have to prove you paid it. It's up to them to prove that you owe it, that you are obligated to pay it and that they have the right to collect it. Sounds like they are 0 for 3.

call from Mediation Recovery Center, DeKalb, Illinois. Mr "Jack Peyton" called to say that i owed $198 on a cc from 1999. That account had been settled and closed 10 years ago. He gave me an address to send proof of payment and/or payment. Yep, right on that. Sounds like a scam to me.
