The fake fax number is now being used to receive Western Union payment confirmation for a fake Louis Vuitton trunk ad listed on Craigslist Las Vegas

The response to the address above is coming from mariejefferson517@comcast.net

The scammer is sending a link to photos of the trunk they are supposedly selling that are on Photobucket.

When contacted, the scammer says that the Vuitton trunk is "sealed and ready for the shipping" from a "shipping company" in Jupiter Florida.  This same Jupiter Florida shipping scam was being used a few moths ago by someone supposedly selling a black Escalade on numerous Craigslist sites.

Craigslist and Comcast have know of this scammer's activity for over a week and have done nothing.

This is a scam number. Do not send anything to them.

Apparently they have a vehicle for sale that the deal is just too good to be true. And they want you to send the money to Florida. They might even go as far as saying it was their son's car and he died in Iraq.

This number is linked to some fine fraudulent folks in Westchester, PA. I have reported all the IP information from the emails I received to the appropriate authorities.

Major scam. Even said her son had died in Iraq....  Really upsets vets like me when people do this.

I sent a fax to this number to confirm that I had tranferred US2,500 to purchase a truck.  It's a scam. I am now trying to recover my money.

how do you go about filing for that scam? we already contacted the FBI. What else can we do? i stumbled accross this site by looking for that number we had sent a fax to. I was looking for information last night. everything looked lagitament. so now trying to track everything down. Any suggestions.

This is a fax number used to verify payment of a scam on a vehicle. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING ABOUT A 2004 FORD LARIAT!!!! PLEASE
