i keep getting calls from this number threatening to arrest me for a pay day loan they state is unpaid?!? has anyone else got this?

i have been getting them too! and they are calling me up to like 10 times a day

These calls are fraudulent pay day loan scams.  Do not give them any informtion or verify any information.  Report any numbers like this to your local Attorney General's office.  They are trying scare tactics to scam you out of your money.

wow just got a call from this number stating that i was speaking with federal agent douglas black badge number 786086. I told him he was a fake and he got mad at me and said he was gonna issue a warrant never told me what i did. Althoughi did tell him if he was a federal agent to have some one come to my door with the proper ID and i would listen to what they had to say.  number called from 707-470-0777 is no longer any good damn i just hung up  and yes the accent was heavy middle eastern

Same here.  I've spoken with the secret service and they tell me not to give any information to these people.  In the US if you owe a ligitimate debt you are serve notice by the US Postal Service.  There is also a scam that tells you there is a guarnishment against your name.  What is so scary is these people have your SSN.  I just refuse to talk to them period.

I received a call from this number and another one with a Nebraska area code (402) 788-1666. I called the Nebraska branch of the FBI who informed me of the scam. He said that any information that they may have is limited to contact information and last 4 digits of SS#. They called me back and when i told them that the FBI had told me of their scam, the man got angy and said he was recording my call and such accusations woulod be held against me. He said that I should have my attorney contact him or I would be in "big trouble". They are only asking for $416 and the FBI agent said, who would ever get arrested over a $416 bad debt? He said it was laughable because they claim to be law enforcement and don't even understand the law. He said that these folks use a computer program for phone calls so that they can use area codes in the US.

i got a call from douglas black today saying he was a federal agent and that i owe 993.63 sents to a money cash advance he said that i would go to federal prison for 8 mnoths if i didnt pay what i owed that scared me so i paid some of it  but now i find out it was a scam damn on me i'm stupid

a person keeps calling me from this number saying they are from the federal crimes department. however, the connection is horrible and he has a heavy middle eastern accent. has anyone else encountered this?

I consistently get these calls as well, some guy named Officer Jamden, I faxed them over a Ceast and Desist letter and the calls stopped, DO NOT GIVE ANY INFO to these folks as they are scam artists

You are exactly right. Do not give these people any money!!! It is a scam. There is no such department as the Federal Crime Department. Any information that is put into the internet is sold and the b*****ds get it. If they call again and they will because they now have your name on a list. Tell them to hold on you are getting paper to write on. Tell them you are recording this conversation because you are having a hard time understanding them. Ask them for the company that is sueing you, ask for the supervisor, ask any kinds of questions you want and then let them know that you have reported this number to the Federal Trade commision, the local ploice and they are tracing the number and then make sure as soon as you get of the phone with them you call your local police department and report it and make sure you get a report number. The police need to have these reports so that the FBI will have enough information and enough compliants to work on putting an end to this nonsense.
The internet is a wonderful thing HOWEVER it is also very dangerous. The got my information because I was trying to get a free credit report.
These people called my mother  looking for me and she freaked out. I explained to her it was a scam . several days later they called her and told her she owed money and the whole same story. They are theives and need to be placed under the jail.!!!

I got a Similar message this evening, however they called my friends number looking for me and he called me stating they were looking for me and i had serious charges coming against me... I called them and i spoke with three different very fast speaking accented males* appeared to be indian or middle eastern*  They stated several charges that were against me for not paying back a internet loan. I started asking for information right away and they were very hesitant and stated i would be arrested and brought to my local court the next afternoon.  They wanted me to fax them my payment method in a pre scribed letter they told me and my DL info as well. Im attempting to call the BBB and local law enforcement as we speak,   PLEASE DONT SEND ANYTHING!!!!! SCAM!!!!

crooks! criminals! slimeballs! this is a scam! first they told me they were a collections agency then called back from the same number saying they were FBI and they were going to freeze my social security # (whatever that means) and have me arrested! they're thieves and they belong in jail!

First of all JHON is spelled John. And our hard working law enforcement are too busy trying to catch youscam artist from taking advantage of people. IT IS A SCAM and you all should be placed under the jail!

I got a call from this number also, I don't think that they are really from the Federal crime department.

Ok these people called me too. Same number and everything. So i called back and he kept putting me on hold. I asked him why they where calling me and he said he will put me on the phone with someone to explain i hung up. So he calls back and i told him he had the wrong info on me and that i work in a court house. I told him to call someone who is dumb and that i'm reporting him to the local department and he had nothing to say. If i were you i would call back and act like a cop y not they do it.

I got a cal from a similar company...707-637-2449 saying that i owed them money from EZ cash... I have no clue what they are talking about. They have a heavy middle eastern accent and the number you can't call back...I called my local authorities and filed police report #2. They said that they filed charges against me today and that at 3pm i will be served here at my job or residence. I called the clerks office and they had no record of it and its a process when papers are filed against you....watch out 4 these people

They are a scam they will not send you any paperwork they will just take your money and send you a receipt. Report them to the authorities.

I got a call from this guy also and he stated by 6:30pm tomorrow I will be ARRESTED!!! I hung up when they tried to get my debit card info and they called back and I said I need the name to your company, he hesitated and he said Federal Crime Dept which is quite vague and then I said I need the address and he said it fast and you could tell he didn't want to give it to me. I stated I wanted and paperwork he had on my sent to me because I need to contact the Better Business Bureau before I give them any info. He said fine a payday loan company will sue me for $37,000 and I will be arrested at 6:30pm tomorrow and then he hung up. This is very scary!!

THIS COMPANY HAVE NO REASON CALLING PEOPLE IN THE USA. I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND THEIR ENGLISH AT ALL. I THINK THIS IS A SCAM ,THEY SAY THEY WILL ARREST YOU FOR LOSING YOUR JOB AND CAN`T PAY YOUR BILLS UNTILL YOU FIND ANOTHER!!

i got several calls from them yesterday and today...two different names but they had info on me?!!?

This is not a law enforcement agency. It's a scam! If you receive a call from this number call your local law enforcement and report it.
