I have gotten the same call from this Danny Morris with the same threat on my Minnesota telephone number so he is now branching out. Interesting that he said the call was for Bridget (which does not exist  here) but I also had other messages for a Bridget from insurance and loan companies.  Instead of selling guns  to the drug cartels the AG should be prosecuting these guys.  Some elderly person might get one of these calls and have a heart attack.  Should be easy enough to investigate for law enforcement.

i keep getting a call from a number +92444 it is a man with a very heavy indian accent he has called my cell phone 25 times a day for the past 2 weeks. He says that i have been pre approved for an auto loan for $40,000 to $50,000. He asked me how much i wanted i told him i never applied for a loan and that he needed to stop calling me. When will the S**T stop i am so sick of getting calls from this number at 2 O'Clock in the morning from this guy.....PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah I got a call from them today. The number was 1-707-508-4204 and this Middle Eastern Voice ask me for my Lawyer information.  I said I don't have a lawyer and he said that a Criminal Lawsuit was file aginst me yesterday.  I told him for what and he said that he was paralegle and I need to talk to a Mr. Mike Clark.  He gave the above number to call so I did and guess what?  It was the same person that called me the first time which he said his name was Bill Williams.  I looked up the number and found this site.  So he called me back and started to say there was a warrent out for my arrest and I was going to be picked up in the morning.  I told him that I was calling the Sheriff Department and tell them about you.  He said that I was bluffing.  Well while I was talking to him on the house phone I called my Sheriff Department and when the dispatcher answere the phone I told her what was going on and I put the cell phone next to the house phone and asked the guy to repeat what he said and the stupid guy did and the dispatcher heard it.  She told me to give the number to her and she will have a officer call the number and they would call me back to tell me what they found out.  Well they called the number and told the officer that he was a Lawyer and such.  The officer told me that he told the guy that he just lied to him and told him that a report was going to be made and sent to the Santa Rosea CA police department and have them look into this.  I told him thank you and I hope they put this a***ole in jail.

He called me and wanted to talk to my parents about some kind of attorney and said his name is Danny Morris.He needs to be arrested NOW.

I got this same call today. I admit I was scared at first, but I am glad that I found this website to report this garbage. So glad I didn't fall for it and give them my hard earned money....

I received a similar phone call from that person, who named himself "Will Smith" (ya right!) and
had a thick accent from India or so. Said he was from the Department of Criminal Investigation Services. He calls me constantly at home since Thursday night and last Friday he called me also at my work. Told me to call the lawyer firm "Michael Carter" at 707-508-4204. I did not call that number, but I asked him for a file number and I asked him for his address. He gave a bogus address " 117 St Andrews Road in Deacon, California".
When I asked him for the zip code he said "707". I said that's rubbish, American zip codes are always 5 digits long, so I suspect he is not only foreign, but he must not live in the United States. I threatened him to call the authorities on him. Disturbing fact was that he mentioned a social security number sequence and asked if it was my social security number. I've called my bank, put an alert on my social security number and will file a police report. He also left threatening message that I'd get in a lot of trouble if I didn't call that above phone number.

The same thing happened to me.  I got a call last week from a different # 410-834-2599 and I like a dummy was scared and took care of it.  I made a payment arrangement.  They only got me for $143.  On Memorial Day this 707-508-4204 number started calling me leaving me the same threating voice mails.  I called them back on Thursday.  I asked for what company it was for and he said Cash Advance USA, I said wait I just made payment arrangements with a different man from a different number, he said he did not receive that.  I called the other company and told them what had happened and he said he would take care of it. I called him back 2 minutes later and they were all gone for the day and the cleaner answered the phone, I asked him what the name of the company was and he said he didn't know.  How do you not know what company you are cleaning for.  Long story short the next day I called both companies back and told them I was coming for them and that I have contacted the police and attoney general and they are done now.  Everyone needs to go to the attorney general and file a complaint and hopefully we can put a stop to these ignats

"Ben Williams" called from Pakistan or wherever threatening legal action...the standard "if you don't call me back, good luck to you" script.  They cannot and will not do anything against you.

I just received a call from 707-508-4204, I do not answer numbers that I don't know. I had one message that was dead silence and heavy breathing and another with some guy with an extremely thick accent left a message stating that I needed to call 'his department' back immediately and that if I don't he will have to simply 'stand back and shake his head as the situation unfolds'. After Googling the number and finding this I am actually hoping the b*****d does call back...I have some carefully held back anger at someone else and this seems to be the perfect release. Now if only they'd call or answer their damn phone line.

Is there nothing more we can do about this ridiculous scam? I am half tempted to begin my own crusade by harassing them in return for what they have done to others. If nothing else is going to be done to them for continuing to scare and scam countless people, then how can I be blamed for harassing them?

and to add to my previous comment...when I just called them back again, (recall I was told to speak to a Michael Carter) he answerd "How can I help you?" I asked who was speaking he said "Michael Clark" LOL Let's bust these do***ebags...what can we do to get em?

Just got the same call. He started with wanting my attorney's info. I asked him why and he told me I had a case filed against me and my SS number. When I said no one told me about a case being filed he said "Oh my God call 707-508-4204 and speak with Michael Carter the lawyer and he will explain the case in detail." I said "Thats the same number you are calling me from" He paused and then said "Yeah...well call that number. Goodbye" So, I called it and the same guy answered. i said "b***s***" and hung up. So sad they are doing this to people.

I have recently received a phone call from this number stating that I had a legal matter filed against me for a payday loan from them. They have my social, my last place of employment and my cell phone number. they are threatening to have the police come to my door and having papers served at my last place of business supposedly. I am contacting the state police in california and my local police. I would like the calls to stop.

I recieved a call at my workplace and when I answered a Man with a VERY thick accent asked me if I had an attorney and when I asked what this was about he gave me this number to call. After I tried for 40 minutes each time it rang then immediately went into a busy signal, I finally got someone a woman, also with the same exact accent. She answered saying, " can I help you?" when I said that I was given this number to call she asked how I was reached. I told her it was at my work p[lace she asked me for the work number. I told her I cannot give out my work number I was immediately hung up on.
Who are these people?? And why do they threaten for NO reason???

I received multiple call frm this number listed above and the guy when as far as to threaten me.  He claim to have my SS# address, DOB and name.  I asked the guy not to call my house anymore and I hung up the phone and he continue to call me repeatly even after I asked him not to call me anymore..
760-269-4176 was the next number he started calling from.  This went on for about 10 minutes.
I informed him that I was going to report him to the Fort Bend Police Department for harrassment.

A ckass action suit might be a possibility, but I suspect the call might be coming from foreign soil.

Just talked to the attorney generals office about this phone number, who called and threatened to have the police come to my house. I was told to flag my ss number for identity theft.

I too just recieved the same phone call. He said that I had a law suit against me and that was all i let him get out of his mouth. I told him to go to hell with that sh@*. I tried to call him back but he also have a phone tap on my phone and he knows when i dial out. Whew I will be so happy when they catch that son of a DOG.

I got the same call today, I work in the court system, told them we just traced where the call came from and a cop would be at their door shorlty he cussed me and hung up, its fun playing their game back with them and it makes them mad :)

I have been getting these same calls for the last 2 days. I just ignore them but they call at least 4 times a day. I'm waiting because I'm sure they will be calling my place of work next.

I looked up the number and name and found this site. Thank goodness i found out about this scam so i can block the numbers from now on.
