Got this unwanted  call from this phone number.

The caller asked for someone I'd never heard of.  I asked him what number he was dialing.  When he replied with my number, I started to tell him that he'd reached that number, but there was no ___ here - he hung up in my ear.  Rude.

MRS is a shady, deceptive debt collector.MRS Associates stands for Miranda Recovery Services. Their main office is in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. They are very abusive and whatever you do never give them any of your personal infomation. They have been known to make unauthorized debits to people's checking accounts . Nothing is beneath them when it comes to taking people's money.

This number has called twice this evening. Second time I picked up and they hung up! GOOD !!

Callled and did not leave msg.  I called back (2x) and an automated recording asked to leave a msg after the tone. I did not do that.

Called me at 6:05pm PDT. I did not pick up, they did not leave a message.

MRS is a collections agency, MRS Associates. They have questionable collections practices (obviously) . Recycling? Maybe recycling of junk debts.

I've gotten several calls, but I refuse to answer calls from numbers I don't recognize expecting the caller to leave a message if it's legitimate.  Whoever is calling never leaves a message.  I called the number, but the automated response said the voice mail bin was full.  I'm putting the number in the the nuisance folder.

Said they wanted to ask San Francisco residents some questions about citywide issues. Said wasn't interested and the caller politely said good day.

They have been calling me twice a day for the last 4 days.  The calls come exactly 2 hours apart and always at 44 minutes past the hour - which is very strange.  The 2 times I answer there is nobody on the other end of the call.  They never leave a message but I called back and it's a generic voice mail that picks up. I can leave a message but I don't want to leave an angry voice-mail with my phone # for fear of them kicking it up a notch on the calls.  So frustrating!

They called 4 times on a Sunday, starting fairly early Sunday morning.  Didn't recognize, so didn't answer. No message left, but they called 4 times total...

I answered the phone call and was informed that they were calling me from something that sounded like IM 3 research. The person on the phone became upset when I asked her where she obtained my number from. She only answered it was 'computer generated.' I suspect there is more to this story than they are letting on.

They keep calling. Never leave a message, and the one time I picked up they hung up right away so I couldn't tell them not to keep calling my cell phone! They shouldn't be allowed to do this. I also called them and the mailbox was full.

Just called me.  I did not answer. Suspicious, so I looked up number in web search and lo, here it is as a nuisance caller.

I just got a call from this number, which I didn't recognize. When I checked it online at a reverse phone number site, it turned out to be a suspicious number which other people have reported. I still don't know who it is, though, and why they called me.

I've been receiving an ever-increasing number of this type of call. And since I'm on a do-not-call list, this person or company is now legally responsible for the established financial penalties of each and every single call.

It gets really expensive really quickly Boyz, especially with automated dialing equipment. Naughty Naughty. Perhaps the GOP would care to elaborate?

Been calling every few hours since yesterday; never leave a message

They just called back again - for the second time in 2 hours - even after I asked to be removed from their list.  Got more information. The company is "MRS" and they were calling for a public opinion survey on behalf of "Recology", the people who do the recycling.  Once again, I've asked to be removed.

Political opinion survey. Asked me about some mayor's race. Sounded hokey.

They have been calling several times over the past few days. I usually don't answer numbers I don't know, but I wanted them to stop calling so I finally answered this morning.  They said that it was "MMS" (I think - they said it pretty quickly) calling for a public opinion survey.  I politely requested that they remove me from their list.  Hopefully, it will work.
