I CANNOT ACCESS MY ACCOUNT

Man, am I glad I found this!!  As of today (11/11/13), they are still at it.  Still using Vikki & Saul Lowery, same address of 1937 Hunter Point Road, Upper Lake, CA, but the number given was (260) 220-8645.  I instantly was suspicious, so I copied their CL anonymous email address & sent them a direct message from my "junk mail" email account simply requesting another reply, so i could be sure it wasn't spam.  A few minutes later, I got a reply - on my main email account, and with the message I sent from my junk mail acct. ???  Here's what they said:

"Nope this is not a spam and that was why i included my phone number...so i hope we are able to do this through an auction payment type that would handle transaction for our safety,paypal is fine.So shipping option should be through the post office,how much would it be?for you to calculate shipping...1937 Hunter Point Road,Upper Lake,CA"

I really hope no one falls for their junk.  Thanks for keeping this updated!!!

DO NOT SEND OR DEAL WITH 1937 HUNTER POINT ROAD.   THEY ATTEMPTED TO SCAM ME OUT OF BUYING A CAMERA.  THEY RESPOND TO YOUR EMAIL STATING THAT WILL PAY FOR SHIPPING WHICH IS HIGH PLUS THE CAMERA WITHOUT QUESTIONING THE PRICE.    TALKING WITH THEM ON THE PHONE IS VERY SUSPICIOUS.

is a national forest not a home address and the phone number (260) 220-8645 is from Indiana fort wayne.  DONT GET SCAMMED!!! Anyone on craigslist that sends a message that says they wanna buy your thing using paypal or any other internet service is a scammer. Craigslist is only for selling things to people in person! use ebay for selling things online using paypal!

I got the same email regarding my Nikon D7000 under the same Vikki and Saul Lowry . They requested shipment to the same address in CA. I never recieved the payment via paypal and didnt ship my camera. Beware!!!

My question is, how do you report these a***oles to the proper authorities so that they don't scam someone else? The problem is, the email address is just s craigslist reply email, not a valid one. If the address and their names are real, they must be pretty stupid to keep using them if they've already been busted. I just want to report these f****rs. The address must be valid at least, because that's where s*** is getting shipped to.

I received an email from Vicky a few days ago (October 2013). Thought it was a little strange as I'm in Vancouver and they wanted me to ship my camera to California. Also, the telephone number given is not in California. Searching that number brought me to this group of postings. It's a case of seller beware. Always sell locally and face to face.

Glad I researched their names, I was just about to get a camera ready to ship out today to them. Won't be sending it now, obviously. I was a little weirded out by the fact that someone from CA would want a camera shipped from Canada that they could easily find there in the States. Glad I found this post. I will be reporting them.

I already sold my camera face to face, but forgot to delete my ad when I received an e-mail from "Vikki Lowery" asking to ship. Having once almost fell for a CL scam, I knew immediately it was a scam so I thought I'd just respond back yes and see what she would say. Without hesitation or questions regarding my camera, I got an e-mail with the address to ship to Vikki and Saul Lowry at 1937 Hunter Point Road,Upper Lake,CA 95485. I googled her name and was surprised how often she tries scamming! I even saw she got arrested in 2011 for scamming someone! I'm surprised she uses her real name. The contact number she gave was (260) 220-8645.

He contacted me through CL under the name Vikki Lowry - said he was in CA & wanted to pay via Paypal. Second email was from Vikki & Saul Lowry. I make a habit of searching phone numbers & addresses immediately after contact from CL and this forum and others turned up with his address. I'm sure he knows the links are here but I sent them to him anyway. From now on I am including "cash only exchange" in my posting title. I've dealt with a number of scammers & all the tactics are different - without a valid telephone number and agreement to meet in person in a public space there's no deal.

Just received the same email inquiry for my Olympus camera.  Not one question as to the product or purchase date or usage, just - will I ship to CA?  It was too good to be true.  I am glad I checked "Vikki Lowry" online.  Thanks to all of you out there for the heads up.

Going by the name Vikki or Saul Lowry. Same CA address as most. Mine was for a camera.

I just listed my video camera and craigslist and got bites from a Vikki and Saul Lowry in California, definite scammers.  Thanks to these posts and several others I didn't send this do***ebag my camera once they sent me a fake payment from PayPal using this email "PayPal Payment Confirmation To Your Account W???????ith (Routing Code: C991-L01?9-Q?556?-T7?213?)" from customerservicedepartement@ovi.com.  Their listed address was 1937 Hunter Point Road,Upper Lake,CA 95485.  They also used these phone numbers for text 2602208645.  They have also used this email vikki.lowry@outlook.com.  This is pretty interesting too:

So I posted my xbox on craigslist for philly (my area) and vikki.lowry@outlook.com contacted me and wanted to buy it and asked if i could ship to Ca and they would pay via paypal. I said sure and the address they gave me was 1937 Hunter Point Road upper lake CA. I sent a paypal invoice and everything and they kept saying they paid for it. The weird thing is that the only time they would email me was around 3 am. And the person said they had paid for it but my balance was still $0 and the invoice was unpaid for. and they said they talked to paypal and i should check my spam folder for a confirmation. And there i realized it was all fake. It was in spam and they wanted me to send tracking info and the funds would be deposited in my account.

Received a email regarding a camera I am selling on craigslist and did some research. Found all of your complaints in regards to this 1937 hunter point address. Found it very suspicious and I was right. They are using the names Vikki and Saul Lowry. Be aware.

Upper Lake, CA 95485  sent a phony paypal message about confirming shipping before payment.  This is not how paypal works.  Did not ship since I did not get the money  It is a scam.

He is now going by Vikki Lowry. I got a confirmation saying money was in the account, I sent him my sons ds and now find out it was a fake email. so heart broken

He is now going by Mark Douse with an additional address in 1422 38th Ave Oakland, Ca.  He's asked me to ship a camera to either address.  Idiot.

I am selling a camera on Craigslist and was contacted at 6:20am today by this character. He claims to be Sanni Sodiq and is buying the camera for his friend, Brian Murray, "Thats my name and Brian is the person i'm buying the item for ..my boss .." I asked him for his email address and he shared the following;  sodiqsanni23@gmail.com.

This character is pretty slick so keep your wits about you when dealing with him/her.

Just got contacted by the same guy. Thought it was fishy right away that he wanted me to ship my item to CA when I live in Omaha. Deleted the email right away! Glad you posted this just so I could confirm it is indeed a scam!

also contacted by email soddiqsanni23@gmail (sanni sodiq) on 1/9/13 regarding a camera i had listed on craigslist. asked if i'd be willing to ship to california and to email him back and let him know if i could text him (huh?). said that i would after paypal payment, etc., etc., and then he responded with the same address (1937 hunter point) and name (brian murray) that everyone already mentioned. fortunately, this page turned up before the transaction went further. sellers beware.

This jack wagon replied to a post on Peoria's Craigslist for my 2 phones.  Didn't try to talk me down.  Just asked if I would be willing to ship it to....drum roll please....Brian Murray 1937 Hunter Point Road, Upper Lake, CA 95485!!  I know...we are all shocked.  Thankfully I didn't get too far into the transaction before I figured I ought to look him up on google, which brought me hear.  The initial email was from Sanni Sodiq at sodiqsanni23@gmail.com Sorry to anyone who actually sent their items to him.  I am REALLY disappointed, as this is my first transaction on Craigslist.  I only became suspicious after his PayPal invoice was sent and he didn't reply.  2 hours later, clickity-clack on my keyboard and BOOM! My item DIDN'T sell like I thought it had.  Oh well.  At least I am lucky to still have my merchandise and be a bit wiser.  Hope they nail the sorry S.O.B!

This guy tried to scam me out of a camera today...used the same tactics as all other have stated. Same address and all. I immediately reported the incident to paypal. HIs paypal confirmation looked so real. I'm so glad that I sent it to the spoof@paypal.com. They immediately replied it was fraudulant. This guy is a creep. Goes by Brian Murray 1937 Hunter Point Road, Upper Lake, CA 95485...emails all from a Sanni Sodiq! BEWARE!!!! I'd like to punch this guy in the face.
