This number called me in regards to a debit that I had through a payday loan.  I called them back because I have been trying to improve my credit and settle my debit.  When i called and set up a payment they could not get the payment to go through. I then decided that I could not afford the payment that they wanted and when I tried to call them back again I continuously recieved a busy signal.  I finally got through to the company and they would not talk to me. IDK what to do, and I already gave them my checking information. Does anyone have any advice?

In Minnesota...contacted Attorney General, which also referred me to the Minnesota Dept of Commerce too. They advised to check your credit report...if bills not on credit report, it is a fraud. They also said not to talk to these people either. So check with your state for your specific resources. Research any bill they say you owe.

its a scam.  I have been getting calls all last week at my job until.  I spoke to the local police, FTC.  Do not give in.  I spoke to my boss receptionist will just transfer to voicemail each time he calls. If you talk to him he will keep bugging you

I also got a call 30 min ago from some guy i couldn't understand, and saying he had a legal suit against me. the number that showed up was 011-0000 what kind of number is that?  i was told to call 707-706-2896. is this a scam or should i be worried? they called last week from 347-844-6916

Also called. Mr. David Cook and Johny Walker. Said I owe them 300 dollars, said will bring a lawsuit against me. complete fraud.

I've been geting the same calls at my job and cell phone from a David Cook and he tells me my ssn and drivers license number.   He leaves messages with my co workers as well and today i told him that this was a scam and he told me that i would be receiving a letter form the court.  This needs to stop!!!

My grandmother got a call from "James Brown," a man with a very strong middle eastern accent, telling her that I was in a great deal of legal trouble because of an internet loan I owed on. Well, I have never gotten an internet loan, so I immediately called the number he had left with her. The call was answered by a man with a middle eastern accent. I asked to speak to "James Brown" and he asked who I was. I told him it was none of his concern and that I would like to speak to "James."  A "different" man with the exact same voice and accent then got on the phone and after I asked him how he had gotten all of my private information he told me "Don't worry about it, because you will be going to jail in a very short amount of time." This obviously concerned me, so I did a reverse phone number look up on whitepages.com and when it came up that the number was unpublished, I became even more suspicious. I then googled the number and came across this website with testimonials that could have been written from my own experience. My grandmother and I were both skeptical enough not to give out any information, so I don't believe I will have any issue with stolen identity, but I would urge anyone who gets a call similar to this to be very cautious in what you say. Even a little information can be used to find everything they need to know about you.

i just recieved a call from and indian sounding man name steve miller.  He said that it was a law suit against me. and if i call him back immediately  he might be able to help me.   well imma have my lawyer call him and sue him.  lets see if he likes that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    fraudulan people need to see how it feels.

He told me James Brown, too.  The moron called me company number-that has an extension, and a recording that says my name...and not only can he not speak English well, but he also cant understand it well.  He called me the wrong name...but claims he has a lawsuit against me and my social security number, and the only way i can avoid going to court is by calling him and taking care of this over the phone.  AND i should not ignore this call.  Hmmmmmm......at least state the correct name, moron!!! The wierd thing is that i looked up OCS-Oscar Consulting Services, and there is really a law firm with this name.  I bet they would be happy to hear this creep is using their company to scam people.

I have been reciving treatening call for several months say i owe money to a place Iv never heard of. The ycall my job and my cell and they always use a diffrent name they have my social security number and a lot of other information. Please make them stop!!!

I have been getting these calls from a Shawn White, he said the same things that all these other people have been listing.  Said I owed money to cashnet.  I called cashnet, and they said these people are a scam, and to file a police report.  I have been calling them back everyday with prank phone calls, from a blocked number....sometimes several times in a row.  I have had co-workers call them also, and say what ever they feel like.  Usually "they" hang-up...too funny.  Why can't they be stopped?  We have the phone number...is there nothing that can be done?

The above is exactly what they did. Very heavy middle-eastern accent left messages on my cell phone over past couple of weeks. Very hard to understand so did not call back.  Now they called my job. He used name "Bran Lee" and said I did an internet payday loan back in April 2010.  I said I DID NOT.  I had filled out a questionnaire around that time, and received so many spam email responses that I deleted that email account, but that I did NOT accept any loan from anyone and they needed to give me the details of how much & when!  He was at 707-706-2896 but then had me call 707-360-0274 to verify but they would hardly give me info except to say that $315 was deposited into my account. I told him HOLD ON and verified while he was on the phone that I DID NOT receive any funds as stated and they needed to prove it. He told me he had no say in it to call back the other guy. I went over this same info with him & he offered to put a supervisor on the phone. I said that would be FINE.  The supervisor still said they would be taking me to court and that the cops would be at me door and at my job to arrest me and to have a nice life!  OMG!  Scariest part is they had ALL my personal info, phone #s, SS#, address, and even BANK INFO!   I will be reporting them tonight and contacting my bank to be sure they cannot gain any access.  This is SCARY!

What a joke... New fraud in Minnesota.

From this phone number, I was called. This was from the same person. He kept changing names too, but I new it was HIM! From 'Mike Jones', to 'David Cook''; all saying that I owed on ...Internet Pay Day Loans.  People told me to first call Attorney General to ask them about it---GREAT ADVICE, so I did. They told me that this was a fraud, and to also check my credit reports...if no similar bills are listed on it...then the bills they said I owed were fake. I did this...and by no suprise--no such accounts listed at all  !!! Also be aware if fake people come also to your front door...research everything!!! Attorney General in Minnesota mentioned also that they have 'Red Flags' too check out too on frauds. Plus do a google search on any number you are unsure about and especially make sure it isn't a scam.  Identity theft is bad...and when they get your information its hard to recover.

I too have been receiving calls from this number and a couple others numbers.All with the same accent just different names. I asked for their address and he would not give it to me. I am tired of being harassed.  They scamed me out of $1000 becuase of their threating ways.  It has got to stop!! I hope it doesnt happen to anyone else! Dont give them any info!!

I keep getting a call from this number saying that I owe money to a cash loan place.  And i have not even applied for and kind of a loan at all.  The person named is Brain lee and he is calling a friend of who i did not even give as a personal contact #.  So i need to know what to do about this.  i need some to call me and inform me on how to get information about who is this person.       713-842-7803.

This number called me and it came up as +0000 on my caller ID.  He never stated a name just the name of the company as being OCS...I tried to google that name and found nothing.  I asked person to clearify (as the accent was VERY heavy) and I couldn't understand and then the guy said he's with AVS, I wrote that down and tried to clearify and he then said NTS...so I asked what does your company do and he said 'we put the frauds in to a jail', so I asked what company was he calling for and he then asked me for my name and number, when I didn't provide it he hung up.

I listened to the voicemail several times prior to calling and they knew my name, last four of social security number and sound VERY threatening about sending police to my home...

Called my banks and they said that they do not handle business in that area code and that its a complete scam...

Got a threating message left with a co-worker that i needed to call ASAP. Yeah right i have had several calls from different numbers that are a scam.
I reported  it to  the FBI

Got a call from this number just today.  Very heavy accent.  Had no idea what he was talking about half the time.  Knew some of my personal information.  Threatened me and told me that thier is a lawsuit against my SSN.  When I heard this message, i laughed.  Why?  Because you cannot sue a SSN!  Also, if there was a lawsuit on me, I would have heard from the court system by now.  Also, I have never had a payday loan, so I know I don't owe anything.  What scam artists.  They need to start earning their money the right way, instead of stealing it from other people.

Just checked my voicemail and had tow calls from Kevin Hunt.  The first time he must have lost his place in his script and hung up.  Called back and again and said all fo the same stuff you all have said.  I will be in trouble with this legal "stuff".  Really "stuff" how professional!  Just don't answer the phone when you see 0000 on the caller ID.

ask them their addres and just visit there to check that is their any ocs or ask them that send your officer i will pay to them

Received a call from this number last night at home and had a message on my work number from them this morning.  The caller spoke with a thick accent and sounded like he was reading off of a script.  The guy last night hung up on me when I told him his claim was BS......  more annoying than anything...

Just recieved a phone call from a Cameron White.  Stating a took a loan out in 12/09 and I know I did not.  The scariest part is that he knew my SSN#.  Told me that if it is not paid that the cops will be coming to employer and have me arrested.   I asked for paper work to be faxed to me and was told it takes 10 days.  The best is I told him that I work until 8pm and will call him when I get home and he told me that his office closes at 8pm and he is in CALIFORNIA!!!!!!  Go figure!!!
