They told me their names were Brian Adams and Peter Burg

I made the big mistake of applying for a small online loan.  I never submitted any applications, signed anything, or gave bank information (other than the name of the bank).  Now this number is calling my house, my husband's cell and his work threatening legal action.  When my husband called them on the fact that we never received a loan from them and asked when we were supposed to have received it, they asked why he didn't remember and hung up on him.  The guy says his name is DAVID WARNER and slurs the name of the company every time he is asked for it.  My bank says it sounds like fraud and there is no way they can get money out of my account.

This number keeps calling my job looking for one of our employees asking for every manager and he tells me im a dirty liar and that the employees job here is a 'p***s handler' . They are rude and call every 5 seconds asking for my manager saying they will call again and again and again .

I have been getting a lot of these calls from a lot of different numbers.  This guy said his name was Ortiz and left a message.  Before thinking, I called it back, immediately noticed it was someone to whom English was not his first language and quickly hung up.  I then went on line and got to this page

I have been getting calls from this same group who said I owed a loan I don't remember ever taking out, and when I asked when this took place they said I don't know. So last night they call with a 911 call like it's the police. First of all the police is a public number and no police number is coming on the caller id 911. Then they called this morning and I called back and they have a 707 California number but they want me to send the money to Florida. I think they should be the one put in jail. They must think I'm stupid! Everyone knows you can find out anything about anybody on the net and the Firm? isn't even real. On this one they called themselves The Law Firm Of McKineeys but I couldn't even find it on net.

Recieved a phone call stating that there was a 'lawsuit" against me and it was very "severe".  Caller identified himself as "Troy Benjamin" from "Mckinney Law Firm" , he spoke with a very heavy Indian accent and I could hardly understand him.  When asked what he was referring to he would not disclose and then disconnected the call.  At this point I looked up the number and saw several complaints that this was a scam and the details were nearly identical.  I then tried to call him back several times, call went through to voicemail.  He then called me again, at which point I told him that I believed this to be a scam and that I would be contacting the police.  He immediately hung up on me!  Very scary scam and he has all of my personal information, including social security #!  BEWARE!!!!!  Call law enforcement immediately if you get this call!

i just received a call from 707 780 3010 they were telling me that i owe them money and that there is investigation against me that i owe them money and that they will call police and put a warrant against me and that i will go to jail on monday. i called my attorney general office and they told me that its a scam. that they are trying to collect money for somebody else plus they said that they would never contact by phone only by letter or court order its a SCAM

Yes I received a call as well .. first off couldnt understand a word they were saying James Brown sounded like he had s*** in his mouth as well not able to speak very good english and when I saw this I called left them a message they will never forget...LOL  thanks to all of you!!

just received a call from this number i answered and indian guy trying to tell me he is james brown i said go ahead he asked with what i said well you called now go ahead then stating he calls from a law company mckinney and stating they filed a lawsuit against me...hmmmmmm i checked this number and saw all those comments i even went further and went on the mckinney webpage and they are even stating that their name is being used for a scam and just call law enforcement on them....well i hung up on "james brown" and he kept calling so after the 5th he called i just answered listen i called law enforcement on you that they are running a scam and they hung up one me
all i say is wow how desperate some people become is just awful

These people just called me (well have been for 2 days, I'm just now answering) and they almost got me. Thanks to the comments made on this page, I didn't send them any money. They knew ALL my information which is what made me think it was real. The Indian accent and the fact that they wouldn't give me any information about the "creditor" that I owed sent up a red flag. They even gave me the same name that they gave other people "Brian Adams".

These guys were Indian and they were trying to take legal action on loans that were never taken out, claimed they were going to get the sheriff and arrest me. Brian Adams and James Brown did a conference call, but refused to talk to my lawyer, and they gave me two different case files.

My friend just received a call from them..sounding indian, they are trying to scam, but have information on work place, home address, status, and also Social Security number. They admitted it was a scam, and they called back several times to apologize.  They said they were a law firm, but couldn't get the name right...they also said their names were Brian Adams, and James Brown.

Says it is a law firm but refuses to give you any information, but has yours, be careful I am thinking identity theft. They are NOT the law firm they claim to be.
