Thanks for the info about these calls being initiated by A-1 Solar in VanNuys.  The rude telemarketers won't admit that and insist they're calling from "Nat'l Renewable Energy Center".  I called the # for "Kris Lee/Cherry - no answer so left a message.

I noticed the A-1 website showed they have a branch in Petaluma: 755 Baywood, phone 707 559-5774.  Since the calls I get are "spoof'd" to be from Cloverdale I figured I'd pursue the local branch.  The guy that answer said his name was Zach, office manager is "Dorris".  He said they do complaints though not many recently.  He said he's stuck with answering the complaints and that he's told to forward the info to someone at HQ  . . . but nothing else they can do about it and said they didn't have any contact info for people at VanNuys.  Sounds pretty lame but was at least a real person admitting who they work for and admitted the parent company gets complaints about the telemarketers they use.  
I intend to keep calling the local office if A-1 keeps calling me, and will also go pay them a visit personally.  
I would encourage other NorthBay residents to call the Petaluma off to start some upward pressure to end this nuisance.

Received a call that I chose to answer from California 1-707-894-3878. A guy gave me a pitch about a big electric rate increase coming up for high kWh customers of PG&E and that he represents a state-funded program to provide price increase relief. Participating in this program would provide payments back to me from PG&E. I asked if this was for solar panels, and he said no. He wouldn't say much else and wanted to set up a visit by a technician to look at my meter. I said that it's a SmartMeter and what information would that provide for them unless they looked at my usage history? That's what they wanted to do. I asked where there was a website with the program information if it's funded by the state of CA. He said the information was only available by personal visit. Told him to call back on Monday so that I can research the call. I used to work in IT at PG&E and handled rate changes. Called PG&E and confirmed there was nothing remotely close to a "25%" increase in any tier of electric usage. Confirms the call was a scam for a sales pitch. Just for fun I will have a recorded conversation when they call again about their "services."  

I hate these idiots at solar power!!! Every day, sometimes twice a day! I have  asked them to remove my name and they hang up on me. I screeched foul language at the last guy, second call this morning and he said because I was rude he won't remove my name.

get calls from this number everyday, several times a day. I finally answered and got someone on the phone as opposed to them hanging up on me. It's the National Renewable Energy Center. They are working with A-1 Solar trying to sell solar panels. She gave me a call back number 877-593-2995, when I tried calling it just goes to a voice mail. They change the last 4 digits of their phone number every few days so you can't even block them. Does anyone know how to get rid of these calls? This seems like harassment!!

I get a call from this number, every day.  Recyle the list would ya??  I've asked repeatedly to remove my number from the list.  Now, they say they are not authorized to do this?? I'm being harrassed.

I get a call from this number 3 times a day.  I have tried to engage them so I could find out what it is, but I just hear a moment of voice, and then a hang up.  3 times a day, every day, whether I wait for the bot, or hang up, or yell, or answer nicely...  What kind of sense does this make?

I get a call from this number every day. I have told them not to call again, yet they do. Are they so stupid that they think people do not have caller ID. We just don't answer any more.

Pricks just called. I answered. A woman said hello and hung up. And surprise, it is a number that is no longer in service. Who'd a thunk!
