A  voice mail message said "...and adjust your current insurance rates, press 1 now." This spam call came to my cell phone.

Ha!  It's a Robo-Call saying it was a "Public Service Message from DMV"  and continued that I was paying too much on my car insurance.  Oh good grief!

I received one on my cell and on my daughter got one on hers. The only connection my daughter and I have is we are on the same plan with my cell phone company. No I am wondering if my cell phone company might have sold a list of their customers to someone.

I also got a call today. I called back and was able to press 3 to be removed from their list. We'll see if that works. I'm also on the Do Not Call list.

i just received a call from this number. i didn't answer and googled to see who this is. i knew it was just some scam.

I'll personally file a complaint with the Napa County District Attorney's Office tomorrow. I suggest others do the same. Specifically, refer your complaints to Catherine Borsetto.

Call on my cell phone today...I didn't pick up since I didn't recognize number.  No message left, but concerned after seeing posts below as I also am on the Do Not Call list...

I too am on Do Not Call list. I contacted the registry and filed a complaint. They kept asking for my personal information and would not let me ask questions about the company. When I asked the person to answer my questions, he hung up on me. I have been calling them back and harrasing them all day.

Yep, Insurance scam probably simply using the same area code as the people they are calling with no actual business location.  Its a Napa, CA phone number.

Just received a call from this number as discribed by Anthony. Got disconnected. I called back and was being transfered but automated voice said person at the extension I as trying was not there.
I am on Do Not call list and left messege

Called my cell phone. When I answered the phone hung up.

Called from this 4/19/12.  No msg. left.  I called back, as I had lived in the area code.  The recording stated they were offering some kind of auto insurance (no company named).  So, now in my SCAM file!
