Unfortunately home late today and received the call from these scumbags. There was a lengthy delay before caller answered, showing calling many numbers at the same time. Caller insisted he was required to tell me about the California Green Energy Program, but was not selling anything (lie as shown from Chris' message above) and was not bound by the DNC requirements. Told him he was required, under FTC rules, to remove number from list upon request, and I was so requesting. I then hung up. I made the request, but I am certain I will receive other calls from these ripoff scammers. Likely trying for credit card information or identity theft. Do not give any information to them.

There is a green initiative and option to select green energy, but would not count on these callers for such service

Caller number is spoofed is likely from Internet. Lower Lake is totally phony, likely as their promises.

Called repeatedly - figured it was telemarketer so never answered.  Finally did since I was sick of the calls and they ignore the "no call" list.  Person stated that he was from a company called "Go Green California" - calling to schedule appointments to share information about Solar for homeowners.  Call number back and states the number doesn't exist.  They had all my information even though my number is not listed.  I searched the Solar database and no such company exists.

Telemarketer called from 707-995-6262. There was a loud boiler room of many telemarketers audible in the back ground. He wanted to let me know that my house was eligible for some sort of solar panel installation. When I asked politely that he remove me from the list, he said, "That's the rule, and I'll certainly see to it that it gets done."  We'll see.

Caller ID indicates "Out of Area", despite being a local (to me) area code.

Automatically blocked on my phone because it is ID'd as "Out of Area".

Getting the same calls, repeatedly! If I answer they hang up, if the answering machine answers they hang up.
What the hell happened to the Do Not Call Registry?

Gotten 4 or 5 calls last few days.Never left a message.My wife answered and heard giggling in the background.I answered and noone said anything and I hung up.Wife answered again and they said they were Grow Green.

Received several calls from this number over the past few days. They never leave a message. Not certain what they are. From L's comment above, looks like the energy scammers are back.

Something to do with PG&E and/or solar. Don't know for sure because I hung up after 5 seconds...
