receved the same phone call yesterday from Chris Blu did not call back

The calls are happening in Massachusetts right now 0n June 23, 2013

Everyone should also call the Federal Communications Commission FCC)  to file a complaint.  These Annoying Phone Calls are illegal.

I got a call from this number 708 300 6387 ext 100 and his name was Peter Sange.  I immediately Googled the number and got this website. Thank goodness for this web site!  

I like the recommendation to go to the DNC registry and file a complaint.  I will do so immediately.  Thank you everyone who posted this problem!

GOT A CALL I WAS 1 OF THE WINNING FINALIST IN A DRAWING 4 AN SUV. TRIED # MULTIPLE TIMES @ DAY 4 5 DAYS, GOT NO ANSWER. FINALLY GOT AN ANSWER & WAS TOLD DRAWING ALREADY TOOK PLACE THIS PAST WEEKEND. GUY TOLD ME HE DID NOT BELIEVE ME THAT I CALLED MULTIPLE TIMES @ DAY & GOT NO ANSWER!! TOLD HIM HAVE PROOF ON MY CELL PHONE. ASKED 4 HIS NAME & HIS SUPERVISORS NAME. HE HUNG UP. HE=DOUG. I WONDER WHO GOT THE SUV?? (MAYBE A RELATIVE OF DOUG'S???) DID NOT GET OPPORTUNITY 2 ASK 4 A WINNERS LIST B4 HE HUNG UP. IS THIS KIND OF TACTIC EVEN LEGAL??? FROM ALL THE PREVIOUS COMMENTS ON THIS PHONE # DEFINITELY SEEMS LIKE SCAMMERS!

I just received same call from Chris Blue. However, mine was on my answering machine as I was out.  I would never contact these idiots back because I tend to get pretty vulgar with these cold calls no matter who they are from.  Thanks to everyone who blogs on these phone numbers to let us know that this is yet another scam and I agree with the guy that wants there to be a law made federally to stop these creeps from calling.  I am also on the state and federal "do not call list". So much for that helping hand. LOL.

We got a call from Chris Blu.  The message said to return the call because we are "finalists" to win a SUV.  The number given to call back is 708-300-6387.  We google these numbers and messages, and am thankful people post and report so we know it's not legit.  We do enter contests from time to time, but not any lately.  Thanks for the reports!

Phone rang. I answered it. It was a recording that said this is our last attempt to contact you regarding the form you entered to win an SUV - you are among the top winners and we need you to call back as soon as possible.  Please call 708 300 6387, ext. 100 and ask for Peter Sane (sp?).  The call was from Prize Center.  I did not call back because I had a gut feeling it was a scam.  However...I was "tempted" to call them back and give them a hard time with a real southern accent and continue to ask them to repeat everything they said (ha ha ha) but decided not to.  Maybe next time....   PLEASE...don't anybody fall for this scam!!!

Why would anyone meet with the company calling when they were cold called and did not enter any such contest?  The one poster who reported being asked all sorts of personal information raised particular red flags.  You, and others are right to be cautious.

What part of this story don't you get? ". . . maybe people really are winning stuff. . . " Did a bowling ball just drop on your head? Most of these scams involve (1) Timeshare (2) Bring a valid drivers license & credit card to the seminar. Right! Like I'd show them that! When companies are vague with the facts, but hype the prizes, it's trouble.

you notice there aren't any messages from the people who actually met with the company calling?  all of these messages are from people who were understandably concerned, but nobody says, oh, I followed up with this and went to the location and this is what happened.  maybe people really are winning stuff.  or maybe not...  i'm reluctant to show up.

Tracker Blue" said I was a finalist in a Ford SUV drawing, confirmed my name and age (didn't ask for SSN or anything else), and said I would be contacted by "Chris" in 48 hours if I won the SUV, which I would then pick up in Georgetown. (Mentioning a familiar location for believability?)

This happened to me this evening, 5-28-13. I had a message left at 6:19 p.m. I called back (the name left was "Tracker Blue") and spoke with his assistant "Chris," who had me on hold a few minutes. Then "Tracker Blue" was on the line and said what you were told and was evasive when I pressed about who/what/when/where, repeatedly saying in a monotone voice that I had submitted my name for an SUV drawing during the past year and that if I were the winner, I would get a call in 48 hours with "Chris" informing me where to pick up the SUV in Georgetown, DC. They had my name and age, and didn't ask for anything else. I don't recall that I ever entered such a drawing, but since I go to a lot of events, I thought I may have.

Yes we all got the same message and know it is a scam Complaining here or to DO NOT CALL does not work.If you want to stop this write to your US congressmen and US Senator and tell them you are tired of annoying robo calls and scams and want legislation to stop these.  This should be done at a Federal level.  Federal laws must also require all registered phone companies to easily and freely allow you to block 800 type numbers.  Pass this message on anytime you report a scam call and we can stop this.

Got the same message May 10th.  Chris Blu, as others report.  I never enter contests and my number is on the Do Not Call list, so this is all so irritating.  What is especially worse is that I am dealing with funeral homes, etc. for a death in the family and I really don't want to have to go through these scam voice mails to get to the messages I really need to hear.

Message said to call 708-300-6387, but caller ID indicates 708-300-6453 "Illinois"

A message on my voice mail from a person identified as Chris Blu indicated I was a finalist to win a Dodge SUV and that it was very important for me to return the call to 708-300-6387. I never entered a contest to win a Dodge SUV.

Got call from person claiming to be Chris Blu...Finalist in SUV drawing...Never entered contest. Was told to call back 708-300-6387, but my "Tattle Tail" said it came from 708-300-6445. Hope this can help you find and convict these people of "usage of a public utility for purpose of fraud". If there isn't such a law, there should be.

Same story.....Is there no way of the law tracing these people and getting rid of their type of jerky phone calls?

Just got the message on my phone.  Stay away from this number.  Has scam written all over it.

Same thing happened to me. Except they changed the name to "Trent Blu", and said I may have won a "brand new SUV" but there was a issue with my entry form and to please call them back at 708-300-6387. So of course I called them back and Rick Rolled' them.

Chris Blu called from 708 300 6451 and left message that I was a finalist in drawing to win a new SUV and left
708 300 6387 as his call back number.  I called it, man who answered said Chris was on another line and
added that I was one of 20 finalists in a drawing to win a new Dodge SUV.  He noted that I had entered the drawing in the Nov-Dec 2012 time frame.  He then said he had to verify certain info: name, marital status, age between 40-75, income over 50K per annum,  He then said the final drawing will take place and the winner will be notified within 48 hours.

Just got a call from Chris Blu 708-300-6387. Same message about SUV. I never entered a contest but I called the number anyway to find out who this person was and ask questions regarding this scam. Got a message stating "we were unable to complete your request".

I also got a call last night from Chris Blu.  Said to call back 700-300-6387.  The caller ID said "Prize Center USA."  the message was the same as everyone else.

Received call from 7083006387. Person identified herself as Kris Blu.  Stated I was a finalist for a SUV from an entry I had filled out.  My hatred of large cars insures that I would never fill out such a thing even on a whim. REPORTED

Earlier today I was doing research online regarding my current car and black book values and wsa required to fill out my information to get to the bottom line.  I think at the end of it it did say I would be entered into the drawing (i was like yeah ok).  I wasn't surprised when I got the voicemail from the same number as above saying i was entered as a finalist etc - so for the hell of it I called the # back and I told him I was responding to a voicemail I had received and he asked who it was that had called and mentioned the Chris Blu name (in the voicemail the caller said Karen Blum).  I told him that and he said that that was his assistant and they were on the other line (I could hear another voice in the background) and asked my name - so I went ahead and gave it to him and he told me they must have called in error becaues my name wasn't there.
