this is a bad company trying to get you to change your gas supplier from Peoples gas (which is not my actual company) by using false tactics.  Tell them not to call back

This company keeps calling "Gas Company" so I finally answer the phone. Some guy gets on the line and says he can save me 20% on my Nicor gas bill for being such a good customer and paying my bill on time. Then he asks me for my nicor acct # or last 4 digits of social.  Eeesh! I asked "Why" and he says he needs to make sure there are not any late payments. "What?" Didn't you just say I made all my payments on time?? He began arguing and being very rude so of course I told him he was being rude!! He said "no you are" . I had to laugh, what a joke this guy is.  I said Wow you just said I was being rude?? He told me to get my ears cleaned out until the next time he calls! LOL If you anwer this call, make sure you tell them to take your number off their list!

This woman calls and tells me my gas bill is in good standing with Nicor gas.  She say's we only get forwarded the good accounts from Nicor and she was going to sign me up with this exclusive account just for those of us with great standing.  It would save me money on the price on therms and all this good stuff.  I said, oh thats awesome, Nicor sent you my information?  She said yes!!, your one of their valued customers.  I said, oh ok, thats strange.  Why she asked?  I said, I don't have Nicor Gas, so thats weird they would have my information.  Oh, she says, we deal with a lot of different companies I may have mixed it up.  I said, ok who are you with then? She said I am with Peoples Gas, I said why is Peoples Gas, another Gas company attempting to sign me up from North Shore Gas, what since is that? Let me call North Shore Gas and look into this, she said, ok thats a great idea when should I call back?? hahaha, ummm NEVER.  This company is US Energy Savings, Scam.

Started calling from another number yesterday, came up cell phone in the 847 area code. After seeing this number several times on my caller I.D I answered thinking maybe it was a call for one of my kids.
The woman said start saving money on your People or Nicor bill next month all I need is the account number or the last 4 digits of your SS number. I immediately told her no. They called back this morning still from the same 847 cell phone and I answered and told them to never call again.

I have now received 5 calls in a row at 10 minute intervals from 708-329-7010, in fact they just called the 6th time while I was on this site. I answered and told them I am not interested and to never call this number again. We will now see if it stops.

They keep calling, and hanging up

I've been getting SO many calls lately. I guess they have a new ID, because now it says "NY Retail Access". I didn't pick up, and when able to leave a message, i got the long beep of a hang up. Next phone call, I will pick up and give them a piece of my mind.

After getting at least 5 calls in less than an hour from this # last Friday, I finally answered.  They claimed to be from Nicor, and asked me to verify my acct #.  I told them I didn't have the bill in front of me.  They asked me to verify the last 4 digits of my social...Not even thinking, I gave it to them.  Although, it doesn't make any difference, because that's now what the account is under, anyway.  After that, the girl told me that she was just calling to inform me that they will be lowering my rates, and that I don't need to do anything, they would send me a letter with all of the information she has told me.
I actually called Nicor to find out if this is something they would actually do, and the girl I spoke to, said no.  She asked if I had given them my account #, which I did not.  She said, there are about 5 companies in Illinois, who use Nicor's lines, and will claim to give you cheaper rates for your service.  If they have your account #, they can simply take the account from Nicor, and put you into a contract of their own!  It would take about 2 business days for Nicor to see this, and once they do, they'll send you a letter for you to confirm within a certain amount of time.  Thankfully, there was nothing shown on my account!!

"TTC" has been calling my house for about 3 weeks now...several times a day. At first, when I would answer the phone there would be no-one on the other end or I would get immediately hung up on. Then I would answer and not even say 'Hello'...I would just hold the phone to my ear and could hear noises/breathing on the other end. They have called approx 8 times today alone !!!! I tried to call them back to have them remove my phone number from their calling list and I get a recording that says I have been blocked from calling them (?????) I have Comcast and the option to block them and their number from calling here again. If you have Comcast home phone service dial *80 and follow recorded instructions to have them blocked. Crossing my fingers that it works...getting sick of running to the phone just to get some bogus call !!!!

This number has called my number over and over while I have not been home. Then when I try to call it back, it says that I have reached the limit of calls allowed to this number. I have never called this number...EVER!! I had this same problem with Kaplan University calling me. This is getting ridiculous!!

I swear to you, if I get another phone call from these people, even Obama will hear from me! Let Nicor know what is going on.  If we bring it to thier attention, maybe Nicor will get pissed off enough to do something about it since they are using thier name for these calls.

these are scammers trying to get you to deviously switch to their gas company - if you start to question them they hang up on you.  request for them to not call you again, and then don't answer thier calls.

F*** these people. Claiming to be with my gas company and asking my about the bill.

If there were with the gas company they would be asking for "who takes care of the gas bill" they should already know.

I just ripped the guy on the line a new one.

This has got to be a scam. I tried to call the number back and they said my number was blocked for too many calls.  I never called this number!

Received a call from this company today claiming to be:   "Nicor Gas Company"

The caller said her name was Audrey and she was calling about my "gas bill".   I told Audrey I don't have a current gas bill account and I "never have!"  I asked her for the address and she quoted my current address.   Next, I asked her for the account number, she immediately hung up on me.  

There is another phone number this company use:   "224-637-1705."  

BEWARE!!!!   THEY HAVE BEEN CALLING MY NUMBER TODAY ALL AFTERNOON!

This is "after" I asked them to please remove my phone number from the phone list!!!!
