I got a call from them. Wondered who they were. Called them back and immediately figured out they were a collection agency.

Yes AT&T has issue and I have been a loyoal cusotmer until I pulled my credit report and since 2005 AT&T sent this to collections. Back then I paid AT&T and I had my bank statement to send this to CCA. I also sent a couple of letters to AT&T and explained to them that I am going to end services with them because I have not received a response from them. and when I call at&T they tell me they do not see I ever even owned the phone number that CCA is calling about and they wont get in the middle of it. What BULL

I've gotten a call from 708-342-2370 once a day for the past three days, followed by a call ranging from 10 - 30 minutes later from an Unknown number each time.  I haven't answered any of the calls and have yet to receive a new voicemail from them.

Got a call from 708-342-2370. Said they were with EOCCA & needed to speak to me regarding a time-sensitive matter that required my immediate attiention. Left a callback # of 877-489-1148. I called & they said they were calling to collect an AT&T internet bill. I don't owe AT&T anything, so I told them they had made a mistake & hung up. This is not the first call I've gotten like this. It is a scam!

I just received a call similar to others, said there was a final bill of $160 for me which I don't know where it came from. The woman and manager who talked to me kept asking me to set up a payment and asking my credit number. They said they would report to credit bureau very soon and even explained how credits is important in life. I mean, are you kidding me? explaining the importance of credits does not mean the it's not a scam and why I own this money. When I ask to see the account statement of this bill, but they said there were no account information anymore. It sounds so much like that they were avoiding a real problem and trying to push you pay. Actually, What pissed me most is AT&T, they always make kinds of mistakes and very time it costs me a half or one hour to call the customer service.

My calls are saying I owe att money. I don't blame cca for this. I blame att. Everytime you move service or anything that reqiures them to go into there systems and make changes, they give you a new account number. Which means your bill stops and they send you a new one. This is more of a problem when you move. They send the bills to your old address. They don't associate your accounts by name...only address.....

I've been getting these calls a few times here and there, I didn't understand why cause all my bills are up to date and then finally a human person left a message asking for someone I did not know, at that moment I remembered that I recently changed my phone number and these goofy collection calls are intended for the person who used to have my "new" number... so annoying.

At about 1:30 p.m. CDST, I received a phone call on my cell phone with a recorded message - a man's voice.  In English and then in Spanish, he said that he was from CCA calling on behalf of AT&T, that I must call 877-384-0290 immediately due to a "time sensitive matter".  I immediately called the 877 number.  The office was closed and open on Mondays - Thursdays 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Fridays 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays 8 a.m. to noon.

I googled "CCA" and discovered that it is a collection agency.  All of my bills, even with AT&T are current.  Therefore, because of the circumstances of this robo call, I believe it to be fraudulent, bogus, a phishing expedition.

The switch between a few different numbers to try to catch you off guard.  The company has left me messages identifying them as CCA.  If we're on the National Do Not Call registry, how do they get our numbers?

Let us know what we need to do to stop them!

These people have been calling a couple of times a week on behalf of AT&T.  I have always paid my bills on time but just in case I called AT&T to confirm that there was nothing wrong with my account. No one in costumer service or in the collection dept could find ANYTHING wrong with my account.

I just got a call from 708-342-2370 asking for my ex-boyfriend. They say he left my number as a secondary contact number. Last I heard he lived in TX and I'm in CA. I have no idea how or where they got my number since my ex and I broke up 7 years ago and haven't spoken since and I am now married with a new last name. This really bothers me. Well at least they said they will take my number off their list. I just don't know how they found me to begin with...

This collection agency is obviously a pile of s**t.  All my bills are up to date, I never miss payments. My credit is great.

They have called me 3 times in the last 5 days with the same bu***hit voice mail.

These people are TURDS.

They have called at least once a day for the past 3 weeks and leave 877-384-0290 as their call back number.  They never say who they are calling for, they just leave a message on my cell phone.  Today I tried to catch the call before it went to my voicemail but it was only a recorded message about a time sensitive matter.  So I called the 708-342-2370 back to see who it belonged to and received another recorded message that this was CCA.  I owe no one and there is absolutley no reason to have a collection agency calling me on a daily basis.

I owe nobody.  I own my own home free and clear.  My monthly bills are up to date.  What fool organization has so much GD time on their hands that they can phone bank random calls with "important news regarding your file" and I must speak with "you".  There is not a single definitive word in their bu***hit message.  My suggestion?  Call Barack Obama and see if he gives a rats a** in a klondike about this situation.  If he doesn't then I don't either.  The FCC should do something about these f***heads.

The automated message neither identified the  calling company nor the intended target of the call.  It said it had been trying to reach "me"  several times.  It also said it was important that "I"  respond today.  Of course I did not respond to the demand that I call an 877 number.

We didn't actually receive a telephone call from these people but we did RECEIVE an official looking letter supposedly from:

EOS CCA
700 Longwater Drive
Norwell, MA  02061

Toll Free 1-877-489-1148
Phone Number 1-708-342-2370

claiming that someone named

LUCIO MADRID
supposedly owed $232.52 to AT&T

and we had better pay up in 30 days - or else!

According to one line in the letter:

"If you feel you are or have been a victim of Theft of Identity, please call AT&T at 1-866-718-2011."

We were suspicious about this entire letter and had NO intention of calling that particular telephone number since we suspected that number COULD be attached to whatever the rest of this scam happened to be,

According to the information in the letter, this LUCIO MADRID person's

Account # is 16-9501462

and the Client Reference # is

2989723355073

We immediately contacted postal inspectors and our state's Attorney General, who is in charge of enforcing our state's Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.  By the time that "EOS CCA" receives our letter, informing that no one named LUCIO MADRID has ever lived at this address, ALL of the pertinent data relating to this phony "collection" letter will ALREADY be in the hands of postal inspectors and our state's attorney general!

We STRONGLY advise EVERYONE who is contacted by someone using this particular telephone number to check with your state's attorney general's office BEFORE giving out ANY personal information about yourself in order to 'clear up" a "misunderstanding!"

This is EOS-CCA - collection agency for AT&T.  They were told to stop calling business # and continue to do so.  Were told to stop calling parents # and they continue to do so.  Do NOT owe AT&T. Cancel them due to bill screw up on their end.  Have bank records to prove it which has been provided to AT&T to no avail.  Told to kick back to AT&T & have them document.  Keep calling.  I am on verge of suing for violations of the Fair Debt Collections Act.
