scam call

Just got a call from this number on my cell phone.  I didn't answer and the very next second a call came in "restricted" on my cell phone.  I called it back and it said the number is not in service!  how is that possible when I called them right back?  Already got an obnoxious call today from one of these scammers.  How the hell do they get your personal info like SSN and address???? This is scary that scam artists have this info.  Today I noticed on my Chase checking acct that there were two suspicious activities noted by them and when I called they said two sep people on the same day tried to do a phone withdrawal for "services" one for $450 and the other for $495.  Chase rejected both as they said each person had a foreign accent.  how are they doing this????  now Chase said I should close the one acct and set up a new.  HUGE inconvenience considering I have recurrent payments withdrawn out of there, work direct deposit has to be changed now.... list goes on.  wtf!

Correction - I said the call date was July 05 - messed up.  It was July 08. 2011, approx 1 pm

Got call from 708 428 2229 around 1 PM, July 05, 2011.  Didn't answer it.  Certainly not going to call back having read this log.  Or I'll just call back on a payphone on a fishing expedition, just to find out what I can.  

From these posts, this one number seems to operate four or five different scams and/or call strategies, which is really unsual - usually one scam per phone number.  WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?  WHO ARE THESE . . . ETC ?

Received call didn't answer it. Caller did not leave message.

I keep receiving calls from this number I would like to report is as harrassement and to stop.

Got a Message from this company #7084282229.   I tried to call it back and it says it is not working.  They were asking for the wrong person.  I have a feeling this is a scam.

I received a call from this number... Hesitated to answer... Answered anyway...

Said,

"Hello...?        ............Hello....??"

There was no sound from the line.... Call ended after 7 seconds (of silence)...

Caller has called me for months now, i dont answer and they leave a voice mail around 2 seconds long with no talking.

THIS MAY BE A SCAM. Scammers are using bought/hacked loan application data to extort payments for fictitious debts from victims and victims' families and friends.

Yes thats what it was, a guy called saying that he's an attorney and i can barely understand what he was saying and he also called my work number too? WTF????
He actually did say my full name too?!?!?!?!

Called mid afternoon and hung up as soon as I said hello. Must be looking for the Lady of the house.

They left me a threatening message that I could only half understand. I'm not sure what to do.

they just called me and new my name and called my cell. They asked me about school when I am not going to school - then asked me why not. I told them to take me off the list and he replied NO. I was so made I told him that I would call the police and report him harassing me. and hung up. How annoying!

received a call today and said if joe is there and i said theres no joe here this people are from another country prettending to be Attorneys cant speak fluent English to begin with. so they had all my information i got pretty upset i told them toFOFF.So becarefull for this foreigners.

Caller keeps calling for former employee. Caller making obscene comments towards office staff. Police contacted and report filed. Caller apparently forgot during one of the dozens of phone calls made to block his number, which read: 708-428-2229.

Who the heck are you and why are you calling me!?!
