I ONLY FINALLY figured out who keeps calling me because I googled the number and found THIS site.  THANK you sooo much to those who posted who the heck this number belongs to.....

How Ironic that I called this company about my daughter and I having severe anxiety, and I too called to get information on their "program".  Midwest Center for Stress and Anxiety.  The mans told me the last thing that their company wants to do is to add to anyone's anxiety level......  How ironic is that????  Is calling ALL the time and never leaving a msg and trying to run up my cell minutes NOT supposed to effect my anxiety.  Last I knew, harassing a person DOES ONLY add to their anxiety.  Thought of putting them on my block list, but after seeing posts on ALL the different numbers that they use, I see that would be pointless.  In my other phone I could save a number and opt for it to always go straight to v-mail, so it would NEVER ring thru, but on the ph I am using now, I don't have that feature.  I REALLY don't wanna change my ph number, I have too many Dr's etc that have this ph number and ONLY this ph number to contact me.  Maybe we should ALL go to their website and see if we can make posts to warn others??  I don't know, I just know that this is RIDICULOUS. and if I would have ONLY known then what I know now...  UGH  That is one of the WORST parts of the Bipolar part of my illnesses....  compulsive

Not sure how, but wish there was a way to report them, seeing this post shows me that it has been going on for years, so I guess that they will continue to get away with it

Called daily from this number at all hours.  Also called from 631-478-6373 which is same company.  Never leave a message.  Had also ordered a free CD but never received.  Have not had any other contact with them since ordering.  Don't know if it is prank calsl or telemarketing as I do not answer.

1-708-441-6585 keeps on calling me, but hangs up every time I answer. Why? Who is this? What do they get out of this for doing so?

it appears 5 times a day in my caller ID..its annoying.

I only receive calls like this if I'm on the phone or after i had a phone call. Is it possible to remove my name from a list or should I change my phone number. I will report MCI if I keep receiving these calls.

Keep receiving call from 708-441-6585, it is located in Illinois is all my called ID has on the screen.  No one ever answers when I pick up the phone.

Whoever calls from this number does so numerous times a day then hangs up when the phone is answered.  Annoying!

Received a call from this number on my mobile (or perhaps my toll-free number) at 9:30pm CST. No message. Who are you so I can get on your do-not-call list?

708-441-6585 is from Illinois.  They also call from New York 631-478-6373.  <<<also from 479-268-2621<<<The Midwest Center for Stress and Anxiety... from some late-night infomercial my roommate called to get a free CD>>>  Definitely harrassing.  Not so sure this is a legitimate business.  Years ago when we lived in a major metropolitan area, II called for one of their free CD's for my husband and never received it.  Heard the radio commercial in January and called for their CD again, told them this was not my phone number, and an immature sounding male started asking all sorts of odd questions like "Why did you call for information today?" and things that just sounded "off" like phishing.  I am beginning to think these are prank calls or at least rogue employees having some fun at telephone call centers.

This number has probably called my wife's cell phone around 20 times, if not more. Every single time, there was just complete silence and then a hang-up. Today, I answered the call and after several seconds when I was about to hang up, a male voice said "Is Scott there?" When I replied "No, you have the wrong number. Who is this, why are you calling?," the male voice said "if this is the wrong number, then that doesn't matter" and I could hear the guy chuckling. After instructing him to remove the number from his system and to not call again as well as asking him how he would like to get sued, he apparently did not have much to chuckle about anymore and hung up.

PLEASE report that number with as much info as you have on them to the FCC. File a complaint (legitimate, of course) on their website at www.fcc.gov (http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm). The more people file one, the more likely it is that this nonesense will stop. If nobody complains othere than these message boards, those companies will get away with this type of behavior forever.

I receive calls from Midwest center on this number and also from 479-268-2621. Same people. The tried the new number after I stopped answering the other one. I haven't decided what to do about it yet, but they are one of the few unsolicited callers that I have been able to identify or associate with a company. Anyone know what authority you might report them to, other than here?

My daughter called this Midwest Center from our home phone to get the free CD. I do not believe she received one but we still get these calls with no one on the other end.

Bill, you need anger management and a filter on your vulgar, filthy, and violence-inciting language. You can and should express your displeasure in a civil manner.  Suggesting violence on a woman is unacceptable, and you need psychological help before you do actual harm to someone--if you haven't already.  You are probably an incorrigible abuser, particularly of women and children, and if you haven't been in jail yet, you will probably end up there eventually, after you inflict pain and harm and damage on another person.  Get counselling and whatever other help you need to prevent you from further menacing society.

The only stress & anxiety  in my life is these c*** suckers calling me! Try calling them back 10 times in a row and telling them how you want to "relieve" your stress with a member of thier family... preferably thier mother.

This number called me 5 times in 2 days. This is so frustrating. I am calling verizon today to get them blocked.

Number calls every day just after 9 Pacific.

My wife did contact some late-night infomercial company about Stress and Anxiety a few months ago. They sent a free CD.

My guess is that they are trying to follow up on it. Not sure.

If I don't know who it is, I just ignore the call and let it go to my answering machine.

I'm gonna try and block the number.

They call everyday.  No answer when I pick up.  I just ignore and don't answer   Up on caller I'd.

The calls are several times a day, every day, no responce when you say hello and when you call back it just rings, no one answers the line.

It's possible she is trying to drum up business by stressing other people out.

To Lucinda who is convinced SHE has helped so many people.  Back off Lucinda.  Look at the list of people you who are discussted by you.

This Illinois 1-708-441-6585 keeps calling several times a day and just as soon as I answer and say "Hello", they hang up! What the heck do they get out of this? Are they stealing numbers or time from my home number or what? Are they using it to make other calls? Who can help us people to get some answers about this?

Thank you for info on blocking using Comcast.  This company (708-441-6585)is a pain in the pants. I also called the number; put on hold (auto) more than an hour till I found this posting while looking for reverse telephone access.But sure they're associated with Midwest Center.  I did find the Latitude 41.5061 by Longitude -87.6344 if you know how to track that. Let me know.  Thank you from another pissed off consumer.

I beat you I've received more than 20 calls; waited on hold MORE than 1 hour to the tune of music playing over and over.  Have spoke to 1 rep "just checking on your depression"...are these doctors?? Have asked for the calls from 8am to 8pm to stop...continuing to receive computer calls that you can neither answer(dead silence)or record.  I just called for "Midwest Center" 112 N. Church St., P.O. Box 205, Oak Harbor, OH 43449 for FREE CD ONLY...thank you 9Jan2010 'I blocked them' for info on how to block with Comcast...I'll do this right away.  Anyone want to go after them; I had a heart attach X-Mas and still get a wakeup call daily and am on the National "NO CALL LIST" ta boot.  This company are ruthless and unrelenting.

After eight calls in the last few days, I blocked this number. There is no one there when you pick up; I called back and was placed on hold by a computerized voice. If you have Comcast for phone service you can block them. Dial *60 (star 60) and Comcast walks you through it. It's push 2 to turn blocking on, then it'll tell you to put in the 10 digit number followed by the pound sign.

My home phone is disconnected for financial reasons since I am disabled and on a fixed income.  The phone they keep calling is unlisted and belongs to someone else, we have tried to call them back twice from two different lines, and were placed on hold for over 20 minutes, and they never came to the line, yet they continue to call.  They never leave a message, and have now called more than 20 times!!!!!  This is harassment and I want it to stop!
