I'm sick of these mofos calling me, I would like to have a way to send an electric shock thru the line to zap them

I also got a call from this number. By the time I picked up the phone (after two or three rings) there was no answer when I said hello. So I hung up and immediately googled the number since my computer was on.  At the same time our phone rang again and my wife answered as I was reading Lou's post. I said it looks like it's a salesperson so she could hear me. Sure enough, a person named Joshua asked if we wanted to buy life insurance. She said no and hung up before he could say anything else. All the caller ID showed was "Illinois Call".  Thanks Lou.

This number is unknown to me, but I answered because it is a local area code.  It took a few seconds before a man came on the line - red flag #1.  The guy said he could quote me a low price on life insurance, and I politely said "no thank you."  Then he asked if I had life insurance, which kind of irked me, but I guess a salesman has to push. So, I told him that I was not interested in buying life insurance, and by the way my number is on the Do Not Call List.  He wasn't fazed and responded "if you want to keep paying high prices for life insurance, we'll call you back tomorrow." - red flag #2.  After the call I Googled the number, and it didn't connect with any legitimate business, but to a Google voice account - red flag #3 and out in my book.

If you get a call from this number, I wouldn't give them any information at all or even pick up the phone.  It's a scam.
