Someone trying to sell me a system to take credit cards.

They just call and hang up on me:)

The guy who called asked for the boss by first name, as if he actually knew him, and wasn't pleased when he was told the boss was on the road.  These idiot telemarketers are clueless.  Whatever he was selling, chances are, the boss wouldn't be the one making the decision.  I'm the one who handles office matters so the guy is blowing off the person he actually has to deal with.  Not that it would do him any good.  We don't do business with cold-callers.  Especially rude ones who pretend their buddies with the boss.

Our company received a call from some guy who asked for the boss by his first name, as if they were buddies, on a first name basis.  When I told him the boss was on the road the guy said he'd try again later.  I asked him if it was a sales call and, big surprise, he told me it wasn't.  I tried to tell him that the boss works on the road (which he does for most of the day) but the guy was too interested in rudely hanging up in my ear and obviously wasn't interested in being brushed off by some female.  So I expect I'll be plagued by this idiot many more times. What he doesn't know is, he'll never get to talk to the boss because the rare time the boss is around and answers the phone, if he doesn't recognize the number, he'll tell the caller that the boss isn't there.  I taught him well.  :-D

called  our business, asking for owner by name , told them he  wasnt here , proceeded to say well you guys accept credit cards do you not , and I said no we do not , well would you want to , told them no and then a click and disconnect, annoying !!!!!  I try not to be rude , knowing they are just trying to make a living . But boy it is  highly annoying .
