They actually left a message, but they don't say who they are! Here's the message left on my answering machine: "Hello, this is pertaining to your current electric bill with ComEd. Due to a recent state government deregulation, you are now eligble to receive a discount on your electric bill. To find out which discount you are eligible for, press 5 to learn which you eligible for; press 5 to be transferred to one of our representatives."

They call at least once a day. Reported via donotcall.gov. It's starting to feel like harassment.

Scam artist harassing me about lowering electric rates. They use different numbers to call and harass. Jerks.

Call at least 3 times a week and hang up because we are working. We don't have long distance on our landline. I cannot phone them back from our phone to tell them to stop phoning. Tried calling using cell, automated message says "if you don't want to receive calls at the number we called press 1". Tried dialing 0 but the computer repeated the message.

I called back to see who it was but instead got a recording to press 1 to be added to the do not call list. I came back here to say it did work to stop the calls.

Got a call from this number. When I said "hello", a recording started saying, "this is ComEd". Then went on to say I am eligible for a new lower rate....to learn how, just press "0" for further information. When I call ComEd for service they are 800 numbers...so I hung up!
