A person by the name of Alex did anwsered and said that I would be recieving a phone call back in 10 mintues. It sounded rather strange so I brought it up the prize distrubtion center and I had found out that there has been alot of people that won that same Lincoln Navigator.WHAT A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Same as other people, a call from someone named Jeff from the Prize Distribution Center, indicated that I have won a 2007 Lincoln Navigator with an entry into the Grand Sweepstakes Giveaway (which I don't recall having ever entered). I was instructed to call a Michelle Bentley at 1-800 number. I was also told that I was under no obligation (tip off), and that there was a time restriction (another tip off).

I got the same call and called them back. They said I entered into a contest to win a brand new lincoln navigator. I live in IL and have entered those little slips at the mall before to win a car. It seems that is where these calls come from. I called and they verified my information. The way it works is that they want you to come see a presentation on the company that is sponsoring the contest. I went it was in Northbrook, IL. It was true. They talked about travel clubs, but we did not have to buy anything or nothing, we had to stay for about 1hr and 1/2 and after the presentation we received these scratch off tickets that would reveil one of the prizes they talked to me about over the phone. It I won a 32inch HDTV and got a 100 gas card just for coming to hear their advertisement. Not a bad way to spend a saturday. If you get the call and don't mind spending a couple hrs hearing about a company I would say do it.

Got a call this morning with the prize distribution center. The grand prize was a lincoln navigator. They also had lesser prizes of a vacation, 2500 and a tv. The guy I spoke with was pretty honest. He stated that the lincoln was the grand prize and the reason they do these contest is because it cheaper for the sponsoring company to advertise to people this way and give them gifts as he said for their time, that is why they do it. He also stated that only one person a year wins the lincoln and i was most likely to win one of the other prizes. I went to a presentation in FT. LAUD for a company called travel partners. They gave a presentation on travel clubs for about 90 mins. After that they gave us scratch cards. and i WON A 500.00 VISA GIFT CARD. They gave it to me right there. I wasn't mad at that at all. They also gave us a 100.00 gas card. I have since used them and they worked fine. Its not a scam, but if you don't want to hear about they company and what they offer then don't do it. You don't have to buy anthing they make that clear in the begining, and we didn't they still gave us the gift and just asked that we spread the word about their company.

I live in Maryland, I got my call today. It went like this.
Hi, this is Bill with the Prize Distribution Center, calling in regards to the contest that was entered some time back called, the Grand Sweepstakes Giveaway, where your entry was submitted in hopes of winning a brand new Lincoln Navigator. WELL, the contest is offically over. We are looking at your entry, and we have very good news for you. What you need to do is give me a buzz here "toll free" in the office @ 1-800-301-3436, again that's 1-800-301-3436. AND CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

I received a call from this number on June 9th. The caller told me I had won five million dollars. I simply said goodbye and hung up the phone. I did not realize until the next day who it was that called. I did a reverse search and I saw a link that led me to this page. Please be careful. Unless you know for sure that you entered a contest that has cash prizes, don't fall for this scam.

They called me and said that I had won a total of 5 million US dollars in a grands sweepstake. Told them that I am not interested and hung up. They have called me about twenty times (no joke) over and over again saying the same things about me winning 5 million dollars and some car. The catch is - need to give them my bank details to transfer. Not a chance.
Do people actually fall for this?

My call was from Bill at 800-310-3436, same as noted by BF on 6/10/09 above. It was my 3rd or 4th call, but this one was the "good news" one. When I called them back, just out of curiosity and before I found this website, it was the Navigator, $2500, a trip or a TV. The only info they wanted was my age group. I forget when they said the "final" drawing was (November, I think) but I don't see any need to talk to them again. My answering machine and call screening ability should take care of things if they don't give up. Call was from Illinois. I'm in N. Carolina. What a pity it is - like all the rest of us, I could have used the $45,000!
allison 2011-06-06 20:55:07 Unknown
same thing as the ones before me. it was from SAM at the claims distribution center and to call DANA SMITH at 1-888-495-5202 to get my 2009 Lincoln Navigator. And I know I never win anything but I called out of curiousity. Dana, it seems is never in her office, but you can leave your name and number and she will call you back. First of all, this was done at 6:48 pm. If it was legit they would have called with a live person and usually in the mornings or early afternoon. And when they did call back it showed as SHARON DAVIS at #773-417-3291. I am from North Carolina. no one is safe from idiots and thieves.

Thomas 2011-06-06 20:55:07 Unknown
Don't know about the calling number or person cause I don't have caller ID. Don't want it. But I did get a call from a fella that called himself "Bill" and was told by him the I had won a Lincoln, Navigator. The call back number he left on my machine is 1-800-301-3436. What alerted me to this being a gimick was that he didn't say my name. It would seem to me that if I had actually entered a contest for anything, that the first thing to do would be to write ones name on the ballot.

I got the same call from a Bill regarding Grand Sweepstakes Give Away, saying I won a Lincoln Navigator. I Googled first before calling. What a joke! I don't even drive because of my very poor vision. The number he left was 800-301-3436, but the call was from an unlisted land line in Chicago, 312-962-0064.

I just received a call from a "Prize Distribution Center." I'm a finalist and I can win a 2010 Lincoln Navigator or $45,000.00. WTF?? I don't remember ever entering in a contest. They asked for my zip code and then stated that I would receive a cerified letter in the mail letting me know which prize I won. Apparently we all have won these prices....I guess I need to make a phone call to the local authories.

I also rec'd a call also from Bill 800.301.3436 about winning a Navigator, trip $2500 or a 32inch TV. I checked with the Gurnee police department they had no complaints they knew of I listened to the voice mail again and found this site...thank you all for the info I almost drove 45 miles tonight this saved me the trip. has anyone heard back from them or had any other issues?

Open a new account at different bank.
Use it only to give the scammers your "bank info".
See if you get anything from them.
They will get NOTHING from you, since it is an unused account.
(if you can misspell your name and use a box number and payphone number for your account, so much the better).
If they transfer anything to you...grab it fast, then close the account...
and scam the scammer for a change. :)

"Alex" called us stating that we had won a Lincoln Navigator from a "Grand Sweepstakes" that we never entered in. Wwe were told to call 800-821-3984 and ask for Michelle Bentley.
Carl Tuck 2011-06-06 20:55:07 Unknown
same scam as above only calling number was 708 469 6553.
Cliff H 2011-06-06 20:55:07 Unknown
Caller ID was David Johnson at (708) 808-3204.
"Alex" from the "Prize Distribution Center" said I had entered a contest for a Lincoln Navigator and the contest was over. He said he had "good news" and I should call Michelle Bentley at (800) 821-3984. He never explicitly said I had won the Navigator.
Seemed like a scam to me so I did a Google search...
At another site like this one someone said they ended up at a 90 minute timeshare presentation at a Holiday Inn after they called the 800 number.
