Got a call after business hours telling me to call back and speak with his partner casey. They want to buy my business! The caller never left HIS name.

I got a call from a person names James saying they were with Price Claim Company. I answered the phone and tried to speak with him as talking but he hung up on me. I called back and got answering machine. I then googled the number and found this site telling me its a gimmick. Good to know

I got a hold of Chris. This is a time-share (vacation "points" discount travel type company) called "vacation resort group" (http://www.vacationresortgroup.com/home.htm)
You have to listen to their sales pitch at a location near you to get your "scratch ticket" for one of the prizes. I am fortunate enough that I have met with this same company once already, so I asked to be removed from their records...
Last time, they wouldn't "leave me be" until I justified why I didn't want to buy their product (Read: VERY HIGH PRESSURE SALES - THEY ARGUE WITH YOU UNTIL YOU GIVE UP!). Even when you say "I am just not interested," they start offering payment terms, deals, discounts, "one-time" specials, etc. Talk about PAINFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Talk about an uncomfortable situation. I won the "vacation," which required some "Fees" in order to utilize it. They acted all excited (like the vacation was the rare and biggest gift!). In reality, I can find comparable deals to this "prize" on the internet...
If you are the lucky ONE to get the car, good for you. I suspect a handful actually get the TV or some cash, but it sure isn't worth my 90 minutes...

Answered a call from 708-897-0624 where a recorded message stating I had entered my phone number in a "win a car" sweepstakes. The message is clearly a broadcast as it said that I "entered in a mall or movie theater." It said if "if was a valid entry," then I had won "a trip, a car, or a TV..."
It asked me to call Chris Raves back at the same number, where I received a voicemail...
