Scam call received stating that I had won a prize. I didn't answer, they left a message that I was a winner. I understand that they are actually telemarketers, who should NOT have called me since I am on the do-not-call list. I think they are time share sellers trying to HOOK people. Call received on 10/06/2011 at 11:08 AM.

SCAM ALERT: I too received two calls from 708-898-1251, asking you to call back at 866-933-6013. The calls are recorded messages that are generic in nature and difficult to understand, explaining that I won 1 of 4 major prizes.  I just completed an FCC complaint at esupport.fcc.gov as well as the National Do Not Call Registry website.  Perhaps if enough people complained they would cease and desist. Be careful of those responding here that may say otherwise as the scammers themselves monitor this site and other similar sites...they are NOT Legit!

We are receiving several calls from the same group with the same spiel. Also many calls for people we don't know from a group called Santander (for over 6 months now) trying to collect a debt from someone who gave the wrong number. They don't seem to get it that someone who would default on a loan might actually give a bad phone number!

I have received a suspicious message from Premium Gifting, also.  The message assures me that they are not telemarketers, that they know I am on the "Do Not Call List" so obviously they wouldn't be calling me if they weren't legitimate, that I had won a prize, and that I was eligible for one of four more including a new car.  This is obviously a new scam but I don't have the time or inclination to expose it.  If I had really won a prize, I would receive notice of it in the mail.  Legitimate companies don't act this way.
The number they called from is a Chicago number:  773-891-2786.  As they are in the USA, these people could get into some trouble for pulling scams.  If anyone is interested, take a look at their hinky website: http://premiumgifting.com.
