Interesting: another google search result shows this number for a Larry Atwood in Chicago and the next google result shows it for a Jacquette Bell in Sauk Village, Ill.

From the dates on previous comments, this scammer seems to have been inactive for a while. BUT? I just got a call from this number on my caller ID with the ID name of  nuckolls artina. What sounded like a 90 year old woman talking into a tin can left a long message that was so garbled that I couldn?t understand it. She repeated a call back number at least 3 times that I couldn?t understand other than ext 300. I have no idea if it was the same as previous comments about winning some imaginary prize.

Already had the root canals.  I attended the presentation and if I did not already own several time shares I would have purchased their program as they provide 4 weeks per year for around $9,000.  This is a lifetime situation and you can pass the program on to your children or grandchildren.  There is an annual fee of $389 which you do not pay if you are not taking any vacation during a particular year, so different from the never-ending maintenance fees of time shares.

They also have discounts on cruises, activities, etc.  For example a $2100 double suite on the Norwegian Epic would cost $690.

The first two people who sign up have an incentive of a $2,000 discount, which go quickly.

Basically they offer a good service at a reasonable price.  There is no high pressure.

Note:  Global provide a 1-bedroom condo, so if you want a 2-bedroom condo you would be using 2 fo your weeks for a 1 week stay.  They charge $159 per week for the condos due to their buying power.  They claim to have over 210,000 members so the $389 annual fee (paid by 85% of their members) generates $70,000,000 in annual revenue.  They claim an A+ or better rating on the BBB but I have not verified this information.

Oh yeah, the "prizes" are the SUV (odds 1 in 50,000), $2,500 in cash (odds 1 in 50,000), the 39" TV (odds 6 in 50,000), and the "free vacation" (odds 49,992 in 50,000).  Guess which prize you will win?

If you balk at joining they have a "special offer" where you can purchase one week at $2,700, and if you still hesitate they offer a second week if you trade in your prize prior to scratching off the card to learn what you won.  If you have any interest in trying this out wait for the special 2-week offer to trade in your prize.  If you like their system you can always upgrade to the full program later.

Hope the above information is helpful.  The presentation is over at 90 minutes, so they are honest about that point.

I received a call from this number today (actually 2 calls as both lines rang at the same time).  This company is located in Lombard, Illinois and they say you have the opporunity to win the SUV, or a TV, or a trip for two with airfare included.  The deal is you need to sit through 90-minute presentation (refreshments served), then draw a ticket to see what you won.  My guess is travel related, probably time share, and everyone "wins" the trip.  My wife wants to attend just to see what happens, so I get to say "I told you so" at the end (assuming I last that long).  I will post a follow up note tomorrow fully explaning the presentation.  Usually the first lie in a timeshare presentation is "it only lasts 90 minutes" ;-D

I received a recorded message from 708-898-2635, stating I won a Ford Explorer.  Since I haven't entered any contests, and I work hard to keep my name off the telemarketers lists, web or social media,  I KNOW this is a scam.  Obviously, a do-not-call doesn't stop some con artists.  Worse than that, if you call them... it may void the DNC for that number ...

I just got this call, like everyone else it claimed I am a finalist to win a Ford SUV.  I stopped entering contests a long time ago once I got tired of having to hear timeshare spiels, etc. to get some so-called prize.  Of course, everyone gets the consolation prize that is worth next to nothing.  Since I haven't entered any contest in over a decade, there is no doubt in my mind that this is a scam.  Claim My Prize - I take it you're a shill for the scam company.

I also got the same message today from Chris Khan saying that we were finalists for a Ford SUV. I filled out a form at the Home Show in F'burg but it was about a month or so ago. I have received about 3 other calls last week that I might have won a prize from different places. Too strange that I would be that lucky!

I also got the same message today from Chris Khan saying that we were finalists for a Ford SUV. I know this is not true because we just got this phone number a few months ago and I have not entered to win any contests.

Got the same message as others here from "Chris Khan".  Caller ID showed "Claims Department". This is most definitely a scam, as we would never try to win an SUV! Plus the fact that they don't mention us by name on the message - very generic. REEKS of scam.  Or scum.

i received a call from the claims dept in which the guy stated that their job is to just contact the people that are selected as finalists in giveaways just like the one i entered for the ford! so since im a chance taker, i attended the event which was enjoyable and very informative on saving money when i travel, and best of all i did receive one of the prizes as dave collins had mentioned! so for all the skeptics , all i can say is dont knock it unless you attend the event, cause all your doing is making false claims and its just unbelieveable how many people actually go by what someone else says who never attended the event versus finding out for themselves! what a bunch of losers!...lol...oh well more prizes for the chance takers!

First, what a great web site.  Yes, I too received the same phone call.  I called back, and Chris was gone for the day, and I was speaking to the supervisor.  Almost sounded a bit like Chris, but anyway I verified the information they had which was my age range and annual income range.  I guess both could be found on the internet.  Nothing else was asked for.  My name would be entered in a final drawing the 2nd week of June.  I could be legit, or I'm about to get deluged by every spammer and junk mailer out there.  I'll be sure to follow up, and let all know if they are looking for a processing fee.  If they do, that would be a big red flag.  No legit contest I know of charges a processing fee.

I received the same bogus call today.  I reported it to the FBI.  They're working to halt such calls in the US.  It will be far more difficult for them to stop the ones from crooks who are not in this country.  Many companies are working on technology that will allow users to only receive calls from known and expected callers.

Claims Dept called said it was in response to our entry for a brand new Ford SUV.  The entry we submitted was pulled as one of our finalists.  It is imperative that you call me back as soon as possible. My name again is Chris Kahn I can be reached at 708-898-2635 I have some good news regarding your entry. Call me back as soon as you get this message.

I called them back told them to stop calling. We didn't fill out any entry form and didn't want to receive any more calls.  He said they might have mis-dialed the number they were calling.  Gave them the phone number and told them to stop calling!

I also received a call from 708.898.2635 indicating that I had a prize awaiting; the caller ID idicated that it was from the "Claims Dept." but no company name. I never answer unknown calls, so the caller Chris Kahn (he spelled out the last name) left a message to call back. Instead I researched the number on Google.

I got the same call from 708-898-2635 from a Chris Khan, saying I'd won a new Ford SUV. I didn't bother calling back, as I know two things for sure: 1, I didn't enter any contest, and 2, they couldn't PAY ME to take a Ford ANYthing. So either way I didn't care. :)

I got a call too, today.  it said "I have good news regarding your application to win an SUV."
I did get an answer.  I got a really shady vibe from this guy, and in the end he told me he couldn't fun my name and he couldn't look it up by my phone number.

I also received a call from what sounded like "Chris Khan" asking me to return his call at 708-898-2635.  I returned the call and got no answer (evening hours).  The caller ID showed the call came from 708-898-2631. So...I called the number on the caller ID.  This appears to be a landline number with a generic answering machine with a computerized voice asking me to leave a message.

Like your call, the caller had stated that he was calling in regards to my "entry to win a new Ford SUV" and that my name was drawn as one of the finalists.  Both numbers are showing as Chicago, IL as well, and I too believe this is a scam!  What is weird, though, is I did actually enter a Ford Giveaway Contest!!!

Call received on caller ID from 312-986-8496  and caller identified himself as Kepis Khan and that I had entered a contest and won a car and would I please call back as soon as possible to claim my prize. The number to call back that he gave was 708-898-2635. I looked up the number and it appears to have originated from Chicago, IL This seemed odd so I looked up the first number on the caller ID and it is a landline number given by Ameritech. This is definitely a scam but I just wish I could find out more info about those trying to exploit. Shame on them!
