Both my wife and I have received text messages "FNB Notice: credit card beginning with #### has been deactivated" and to "call 708 941-0851" Certainly scam of some sort. We have not and will not reply.

I received a text from the us alliance f.c.u stating my card has been cancelled as well. They gave 914 482 8103 as the callback number- i don't have the card, so wasn't concerned that it might be deactivated, but I was curious enough to check here. At least I know for sure that its a scam now.

I received a text message from this 708-941-0851. The text stated that my card starting with 4054 has been deactivated and I should contact First National Bank at 903-258-9516. I figured it was a scam of some sort and ignored it other than checking the both phone numbers on the internet (903-258-9516 and 708-941-0851).

I received the exact same message with the exact same "card number" and same call back number. What I don't understand is - if this is a scam (obviously it is) what are they even trying to accomplish??

Advised that my "Card" has been deactivated and I should contact "us" at 623-444-5284. ( Bogus number associated with the 708 number. Some lazy SOB that is not capable to holding a real job and figures scamming will work for him. Karma will take care of that.
I didn't both following through since this is such a obvious fool at the sending end of this stupid a** ploy.
