Texted me about a Cars4Sale ad I placed.  I didn't reply.  It's got to be a scam.  No one from a 1000 miles away is going to purchase a cheap 30-year old boat trailer.

We received a text from this number wanting to buy our firbird. They wanted us to set up a paypal acct and give him our information so he could pay for the car and when he was on Holiday from the oil rig he would send a carrier to pick it up. I called the number and it said it was google voice (which I had never heard of but does exisit) I called the number and left a message for them to call us back. I havn't heard from them yet. Just sounded funny to me Holiday? oil rig? Sight unseen. I will let you know how it goes.

Another scam on craigslist...they want to pay you with paypal but they spoof paypal email address and send you a letter as if you received payment when there are no funds deposited....careful with this scam....its very similar to the one done on ebay.
