Would not identify who they were or for what business they worked. Asked to speak with the person in charge of our electric accounts. When told they "weren't available" the dude said "thank you" and hung up. After every time he spoke he would hit the mute button so I couldn't hear what was going on in the background, which sounded like a very loud/busy call center.

"Direct Energy" is what showed up on the ID.

Called me earlier in the week, answered as I tend to get calls for my job in which I don't know the number a lot of times. Told them that I do not wish for them to call me, and if they do they would be reported to BBB. Just received another phone call, did not answer left voice mail. Will be calling BBB this afternoon.

I work for a State Univ.  Someone from this number has called two times, two days apart wishing to speak to a representative who handles the Ameren electrical bills.  I work in the legal office and have asked them to remove our #.  Two times I have asked.  They don't seem to care.

Didn't get to the phone in time, checked here and found it isn't important.  If I see it again I will report it as I am on the "do Not call" list

Direct Energy.  They want you to switch your electricity provider.
