Same story, but a different number: 1-877-999-2946 x 4786 for Jason Lee, but when calling it get transferred to Todd Williams, who says he is Promotion Director for "Event Planners" and I entered a sweepstakes sometime in the last 18 months at the Georgetown Holiday Inn. He says that this is a real event, and no need to report to the government after I told him I was on the National Do Not Call List. Todd proceeds to ask about my sweepsteaks stub, and tells me it's no problem that I don't have it, and coincidentally he gives me the same claim number as someone previously reported: ITC-580o. The drawing is on Feb 7 for the Explorer or Escalade and if I win it, I will be called sometime this weekend.

I got a call from this number but it was a recorded message from a gal calling for Jason saying I was a finalist for a Lincoln Navigator and I need to call 1 800 339 1856 and talk to Jason. I called back (I did win 10K last spring from sweepstaking) and got a recording saing sorry all lines were busy and I should leave my name, number, and state so some one could call me back. If they called me, why didn't they know my state. I don't want a LARGE SUV so I have not entered contest with that main prize.

Message from Jason Lee says I'm a finalist to win a Ford Explorer or Cadillac Escalade, call 1-866-487-3208, x100.
I called, a female said Jason is busy but she can help me. She asks for my name and phone number and if I have my winning stub. I said no, so she said it's #ITC 5800. I must bring a credit card or checkbook that will not be used for anythng but identification, to the Holiday Inn Georgetown at 2102 Wisconsin Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20007. I will definitely win one of the 4 prizes: Lincoln Navigator, 32" TV, etc., if my wife and I attend a 90 minute presentation. I'm not married. So the person said this is for married couples only. Don't come, Good bye.

866-487-3280 Jason Lee calling I'm a finalist in a sweepstakes for 2 cars;
called back to get location but only get recording asking for my contact info.
I have and will call back all night to that answerer to fill up their
recording capacity and/or make them listen to my inanities.
I suggest you all do the same.
The next time they actually answer if they do, (Sat. or Mon.?) tie up their time and alert them that you have already reported them and that you know where they are located. I would assume that their 800# ID'ing ability
(doesn't respect blocking) will block YOU, but any inconvenience to them will be nice. (they will probably get a diff 800 #)
And of course report this on Do Not Call List

I received a voice mail message from Jason Lee saying I was a finalist in a contest to win a Cadillac Escalade. I figured it was scam and checked here to find I was right.

Just received a call on my answering machine that I was one of the finalist for a Ford Explorer or a Cadillac Escalade. That it would be in my best interest to call asap a Jason Lee at 866-487-3280 Ext 100. I googled both phone numbers as it sounded very fishy and of course, it was.

Caller said "I entered into a sweepstakes" to win an SUV. Complete Bull as I don't do that for the sole reason, to not get calls like this all the time. Beware this is a scam. And what ever happened to the do not call list (which I'm on). Would it be worth suing someone who most likely is working from a trailer park ? I think not. Don't fall for this one. If you ever get a call like this, I suggest *69 the call and google the number as I did in this case.
