Stop calling

It's a call center fir national grid. They're trying to get info. I told them to stop calling

They called 3 times today - I answered once but they hung up. Have called twice more today but I did not answer. Reverse lookup says it's either in Belgium or Canada. Hope they stop calling!

this phone number keep calling my phone everyday sometime 3 or 4 times a day . But everytime I call I got a message that the phone number is no longer in service.

709-293-9971 is a new number that has just started calling me.
Caller ID states:  Grand Falls, NF    Wouldn't that be Newfoundland & Labrador??

I have received numerous calls from this number every day for the last two weeks. This has got to stop!

Got 4 calls to my private cell number from this number in the last four hours. They had called many times before, until I figured out how to block the call on my cell phone. Now the phone does not ring when they call, but the missed call is recorded. Blocking the call may be the simplest solution for most people.

BTW, I use T-Mobile, pay as you go, cheapest phone T-Mobile offered. I can't block the calls via my online T-Mobile account, but if you check the options against the phone number calling that you do not want to receive, in my case, blocking the number is an option.

I have received numerous calls from individuals asking to be removed from our calling list, we do not have a calling list. We do not now, nor have we ever used telemarketers.

I appreciate the frustration of individuals receiving calls from this number, however; this number does not belong to nor is it associated in any way with Exploits Community Employment Corporation.

This is a small area, mostly rural, the area code 293 is I believe a Telus mobility extension. Not 100% sure on this. We have two telephone companies you can contact, Bell Aliant or Telus Mobilty, hopefully one of these may be able to assist you.

I have already contacted my phone company  with a question as to why our name might be coming up in a search associated with this number. I would be very interested to determine where the original poster received his information.

I got one too. I have a VOIP service called Teleblend and I can block as many calls as I like, including this one

I have just answered another call from this number. A Reynaldo told me he was calling from National Grid about my energy service. I asked to be removed from his call list, and he said he would put my number on their don-not-call list. Finally!! If I receive any more calls, I will be pestering NG as they have been pestering me.

Same thing as others. try to call back, out of service. They call about three times an hour. I hate this.

I get 2 or 3 calls per day from this number. When I say hello, the call either disconnects or a recorded voice says goodbye. When I have called the number back, it is said to be no longer in service.

They called my house claiming to be with con edison and national grid. I was foolish enough to actually give them my account numbers to verify information. When I came to my sences and saw that this was a scam I quickly hung up and called both con edison and national grid to put a lock on my account. They said to me more than once that they were with con edison. I cant believe they would misrepresent themselves like that, such liars!!
This needs to stop, NOW!

I've been receiving calls from this number for over a month, and I receive 5+ calls a day. They never leave a message, and they didn't even talk the one time I answered. It's obviously some kind of scam. I've reported them to the Federal Trade Commission, and if you want the calls to stop I suggest you do the same. www.FTC.org. The more complaints/information they receive on this company, the better.

it says they are a employment agency but on other lookups it says they are a telemarketer and aliant telecom is there phone/internet provider so im not sure which is truebut when you look it up it will tell you i will look further into it to be sure.

Said they were from college finder. Thought it was for a job interview for like a sec then realized i was being sold something. B*****ds

I've been gone today, and when I returned I found 5 missed calls from this number.  It shows up as "Newfoundland" on my caller ID.  As I am typing this, they just called again.  I didn't answer, and won't.  I don't live anywhere near Newfoundland, or Belgium, and I'm certain I don't want anything they might be trying to sell me.  I will be blocking this area code from my phone in the next few minutes!

This number calls 5-7 times a day if you try to call it back there is a recording saying you cant call it back it is soooooo annoying! i am going to cuss them out next time they call,

let's track these guys down and burn them at the stake!

these ppl call non stop and hang up every time i answer how can i make it stop ?

This number keeps calling my cell phone and running up my bill.  It claims to be "College Finder" but a Google search turns up more than one such organization.

I called the number back and get a message states the number is not in svc. It seems this is a scam or an attempt to steal you information for their personal gail

I don't know who this is harassing me. When they call again I will let them know what I think about them.

Does anyone know where they could of gotten phone numbers?

I received a call every 2 minutes for over an hour from 709-293-9971.  It show on my phone 22 missed calls from that number.  They never leave a message.  I finally turned my phone off.
