I received a call from this number.  The guy said he was calling from CPA?? When I asked what is CPA, his tone was condecending ...sounded like "you don't know" !!! Canadian Police Assoc.  I questioned him as to what location he was calling from, he indicated Ottawa!! and it was in regards to cyper bulling and continued his 'reading'... I interrupted to explain I supported our local police and felt certain  they were supportive of these situations.  Ignoring my info, he proceeded to ask for a donation of $35, $55, $100.
I told him I would have to google the number first...he hung up on me.

I was called a few times from this number. I didn't answer but I called back and there was voicemail options for the CPA. I left a message to take my phone number off the database. Now i know about the scam.

This number has called my house about 4 times so far today. I just ignore it or pick up and hang up right away like I do with all long distance numbers. Even though it is a 709 area code which is my area code, the 700 number raises a red flag for me

Picked up phone and there was silence on the other end.

I recieved a call from this man twice in a week and knew is was a scam with the first sentence out of his mouth and when you call the number back it says from the police a**. And says you can leave a message.

Caller said they were with the Canadian Police Association and were looking for donations for kids who are being bullied.  Just saw on the CBC news that this was a scam and the Police Association is not doing any fundraising and would not look for donations over the phone.  Hope they catch the people who are making money off of this scam and lock them away for a long time, maybe jail time would show them what it is like to really be bullied!!!

This number just called me, took a moment or two for the recording to kick in. It first identified me as a woman (I sound quite the opposite), and then blabbered on about cyber bullying. When it then came time to ask if I was for or against finding away to educate children on the dangers of this subject, I answered "No", as saying "Yes" to an unknown recording over the phone is extremely sketchy. After which it told me to keep whatever they were representing in mind for the future and disconnected the call.

I suspect it to be a scam of sorts, don't answer yes and it won't ask you for money.

looking for money for bullying programs in schools etc ...I offered 10 dollars and they refused , told me it had to be a minimum of 20 to 25 dollars . what kind of group turns down an offer of 10 dollars ???? sound like a scam , it does to me
