She is a collection agent and very rude

I got the exact same call at my grandparents house.  They said they were looking for me (using my entire name), it was about business and didn't say anything else to my grandmother who answered the phone.  It seems very sketchy.

Same here:

"Good morning, important message to return my call, my name is Janet, 753-5250. - Thank-you"

So I called her back :)
Apparently "Janet Butt" works for AllianceOne and is in need of one of three personal pieces of information for proper identification:

1) A mailing address
2) A Date of Birth
3) A social insurance no.

I told her that though it went against my personal policies that I was willing to exchange information with her. ie. if she gave me her mailing address, dob or social insurance no. that I would give her one of mine. She refused and said this was a business matter that required identification. She then asked me if I was willing to give that out to her now, I laughed and said not a chance. - lol

She wasn't rude btw.

Who are they.  The call for my step son says it's for business but won't say anything more.  It just worries me?

keep getting the same call her name is janet wanting a person to call her back and its not toll free

i got a called. it was a rude lady who called herself janet but wouldnt say what she wanted, just kept asking for my sister
