I received a call as well and said the person they were looking for was not home yet.  They specifically asked for me and the phone number is listed in my husband's name - obviously they got my name and number from somewhere!

I have received several calls from this number. My wife answered this AM and the caller said "Aye, can I speak to Gerald?" She hung up and called back and got a "recording" stating that "The number you dialed is not in service".
I think it's time for the government to step in to regulate - not just "scam" calls but also calls for Charitable  donations. It's becoming plain "HARASSMENT".

They called here... my wife answered and they identified as The Veterans Association. Not much other ID was used, but my wife gave her MC number for a donation because the rep said it was easier with less administrative overhead. I cringed when I heard this. I searched for the number from our Call Display. At least since someone else said it was NL Child Find, it might be safe to assume the same call center is working for both. I'm in Newfoundland Canada.
