If your caller has all your personal info, you can request that your bank(s) and at least one of the three credit bureaus (Experian, Equifax, TransUnion) - put fraud alerts on all your accounts. If he has your SSN, you may also want to look at getting identity theft protection.

The man who called stated that I have money left on my student loan I told them I do not he then replied and asked if I was paying on one and he was here to help me figure out either to get back in school and how to claim my student loan money. I told him I don't have one I got approved for financial help and had to stop after 9 wks cu my son fell ill then the man on the other end hung up I tryed to call it back and it said the number had been changed or disconnected. I find this very alarming cuz the man knew my Info and yet you can not reach this number in any way. I'm trying to get answers and see if this person is messing with my info
