This number called our home phone nine times and my husband's cell three times. Apparently, he signed up to win a washer and dryer at Southern Hills mall. They told us that we'd "won" a free water test. We made an appointment, but after reading the comments on this forum decided to cancel (who has two hours to spend with salespeople right around dinner time on a weeknight?). My husband called to cancel. The receptionist picked up on the first ring and was very polite about canceling our appointment and didn't even push for a new appointment time. Her conduct was reasonable, and as long as they honor our cancellation request, I'll be pleased with this outcome and this company.

missed calls all hours of the day and night from this number with no message left. I finally answer the call. he starts in right away about the weather without introducing himself. he says that they will be coming out to test my water, as i had filled out a water sample and sent it in. (back story: at home depot, they had a stand with self-stamped water containers. the envelope said to fill out the information, fill the container with water, and get a $20 home depot card. so i filled it out, sent it in, and now all the phone calls). he said that the water i sent was just used to calibrate the machine (and yet he told me my water was fine) and that they would be coming to check my water. i told him no he wasn't, and that they could mail me the results along with the giftcard. he mumbled something about the small print. i told him this was false advertising and he said that there is a clause on the envelope. i told him that he wasn't coming to my home, and never to call me again.

This number has called my wife at least 50 times. She never entered any drawing.  Report the number if they call and do not do any business with them.

Same water check sales pitch after entering a drawing somewhere thing.  Dude never introduces himself or says what company he is with and just starts talking to you as if he's known you all your life (which is a tell tale sign of the BS story to follow).  "We're in your area tomorrow etc....blah blah drawing prize.....let us check your water".  This drawing has been going on for weeks, every time he calls he says "your in the drawing".  Laughable

Just get Culligan where at least you know there is a company behind the product and not the BS that's going on with this guy....and I guess don't sign up for drawings and prizes at malls, county fairs or other public gatherings.

Does it ever occur to you that it's just people who are breaking the law every time they call someone whose name is listed on the Do Not Call list ?

Look, I can understand trying to make a living, needing to feed kid, keeping a roof over your head and all, but how do you justify committing crimes to do so ? Because some of these people do.

I'm sure you all are perfect saints who NEVER have an agenda or bend the truth to make things better or easier in your lives. But then again, you'd have to have lives 1st.  Get over yourselves, you collection of sanctimonious, judgmental, blowhards.

I received a call also from this number letting me know I had won a washer and dryer from a drawing I entered at Singing Hills mall in Sioux City. They were supposed to bring it out and install it last night and never showed. Now when I call this number I get a busy signal. Based on what everyone wrote here, I'm guessing a scam is in order. I will be reporting this to the BBB. Thanks for the info it really helped!

I did the same thing. What a joke, I told the guy we already have a culligan system and he said well that doesn't matter, they can take out some stuff. I said ya ok, Tried to call him back to cancel the appt for him to come to our house and no one answered it just rings. Luckily I have read this and will just tell him to leave when he gets here. Live and learn.

This number continues to call my cell phone.....any idea who it is?

i put my name in a drawing for a washer & dryer in Mankato, mn. in the riverhills mall. im going to call  and complain the the mall manager on monday. this is the only drawing that i filled out with my cell number on it....

NEVER sign up to win something or other and give out your number. Hold onto your cell number like it is cash. You pay enough for the service right? B*****ds!

I have been getting calls from this number 712-336-4570 lately, and my caller ID comes up with A One Water.  This same company has been calling me daily, sometimes 15-20 times per day, since last fall.  They never leave a message.  I now have at least 5 different numbers logged on my phone log that start with 712-336, and all have A One Water or A One Water Specialists as the caller ID.  I do not recall ever putting my name in any drawings.  I am on the Do Not Call lists, but they are obviously not complying.

I know who this is, I think his name was jim. i put my name in a drawing in the sioux center mall. it was set up over a new shinny washer and dryer. not even knowing what the prizes were, i just put my name in.
a few days later i get a call from 712 366 4570, his name was jim.  he said they pulled my name and i won a $1000 dollar girt certificate to resturants all around the country, and a free water inspection and wondered what day they could come inspect the water. in my exitement i said tuesday at 5 works. so tuesday at 5:00 some dude comes to my house, check my water with all his tools and chemicals and of course tells me my water is horrible and its killing me, i've never seen a bigger salesman in my life. he even used his dead wife to try and sell me his $8250.00 water treatment system. he said the clorine in the water gave her brain cancer. YA RIGHT.
he took 1 and a half hours, during our super time while my 2 year old was starving.  my own fault i guess, i'm to nice, i should have booted his a** out. anyway i said NO thank you and he left. i never asked this guy about my $1000 gift certificate that i won because all i could think about was getting him the hell out of my house. so the next day i called this jim guy back because i saved his number. No answer, i called that number 15-20 times it just rings and rings and rings. what a fu*#in@ joke. these sons a bi****s offer you a fake 1000 dollar gift certificate just to try and sell you a $8250.00 water treatment system. I'm not even that mad about the guy waisting almost 2 hours of my life, in my own house. what tics me of is the lying sleezy cheeting bastereds lied about a 1000 dolar gift certificate. oh well, live and learn i guess. By the way the water system company is Rain Soft.  "OUR WATER IS THE PUREST WATER ON THE PLANET"   Ya i bet. I do dare to bet however that everyone who put thier name in that box. got a call and won somthing big, along with a free water inspection.
