Righting a blog on these #?s help many people. I for one no longer answer calls from #?s I don?t know. If it?s important they will leave a message.     But more importantly reporting these calls to the ? do not call ? is a waste of time. Call the FTC at 1-877-382-4357 there you can talk to a live person and report up to 5 numbers, or go on line to ftc.gov  ( federal trade commission) and file a complaint. If we ALL do this maybe it will get some attention.

The "card services" scammers use a robodialer which more or less dials numbers at random.Unfortunately your number just came up in their sequence of dialing.

Got a call about 5 pm. Didnt answer but this is a new house phone how do they find you so fast?

I have gotten 5 calls in 10 days just checked my cell phone list for the details. This is getting ridiculous. I'll need a secretary at this rate.
They keep asking my for credit card information and then hang up. I am not interested in any. They are very rude.  I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST but it does not seem to matter.

I never answer because its ALL - RACHEL from Credit Card Service- at the beginning in the first few YEARS I told them I dont have a credit card,  reported them to DO NOT CALL,  called FCC, FTC,  got hung up on....then I stopped answering the phone ANY time I don't recognize the number.  Here I am YEARS later and today within 20 minutes I got the following calls from these numbers (of course I didnt answer)

I have been getting these calls for about a year. They are all the same when they put the call through that has the recording of "do not hang up,this is a call about your credit card, you can get lower interest rates blah blah". So I stayed on the line and told the woman that answered that I am tired of these calls that either hang up or give this message and that I was on the do not call registry. I asked her how to get off their phone number and for them to stop this harrassment. She called me a "B" rymes with witch and hung up. Now I am getting these calls from more numbers daily that are from  Ohio 937-933-9004/ Iowa 712-357-3090/and other parts of the US some of which are blocked.

It seems that after I put my number and my mothers on the DNC registry that these showed up. Maybe it is just funny timing, but it is a pain in the butt.

Yes...The millions of American companies who ARE NOT  calling you daily,  who regularly purchase and abide by the Do Not Call Registry........by not calling you.   Scammers are not Telemarketers...They are Thieves who could care less about any and all do not call lists.

Sometimes if I'm having a bad day, I'll press 1 and when some comes on I'll be nice at first, then I'll scream the worst obscenity I can think of.  Hey... it makes me feel better and I don't feel bad about it.

They call my work cell phone every day. Someone did answer tonight when I pressed to continue. The obnoxious jerk on the other end told me it was time to quit being a little b!tch. These criminals give real telemarketers a bad name.

Even if it's not costing them money to make the calls it's still costing them operator time.   That's what I don't understand; I get 1-3 calls a week for well over a year from these same scam houses.   Every opportunity I have, I waste their time.  At some point you'd think they would want to remove numbers of people who are obviously NOT falling for their scam.  

Note:  These are coming into my business cell, so ignoring any out of area code number isn't an option.

They have technology to spoof Caller ID.  The Federal Trade Commission has cases pending against 5 of these operators, but others spring up like wildflowers.  Don't know whether there are multiple companies using the same thing, or if they are all under the same umbrella, e.g., one top spammerscammer operating as several different companies to confuse law enforcement.
An intelligent scam operation would at the least weed out nonresponsive numbers.  These guys don't.  Apparently they think the cost of the unproductive calls is worth it.
I do report them to the FTC.  https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx  The FTC has brought seven cases against Innovative Wealth Builders and its owners,  Carly Janene Pelland, also known as Carly Zurita; Tamara Dawn Johnson; and Sheryl Leigh Lopez in Tampa Federal Court.  Reports of calls to FTC are being acted on, but FTC needs to be alerted by people who report.

Got a call from this number yesterday and today.  Nothing on the other end and a disconnect after 10 secs. When I called the number back, I got a recording telling me that if I no longer wanted calls from Capital Education I had to press 1.  This I did not do.  I guess that somewhere I am now registered as a legitimate number that can be pestered many times over.  How come these scumbags get away with this.

they keep calling me, when i do speak to someone and ask whick credit card company they are calling from they hang up on me.

I answered, and after a few seconds the call hung up.

Please take me off your calling list and your calls are wasting my time i do not care for your calls

5.    People should continually file complaints with their Attorney Generals office

This is an all out attack from these scum suckers! EVERYONE should be reporting them everywhere that they can. Since this is an obvious attempt at identity theft and is interstate, the FBI should be forced to get involved.

I started a petition awhile back, and haven't pushed it very much because the calls were getting less frequent. While I know the number is spoofed, every time I get one of these calls I add it to my block number list on Verizon. It was definitely slowing them down.

Getting a number of phone calss at various times of day or night.. No one on other end when I say hello

He's probably just bummed because he won't be in my house next week. Poor scammer.
