we are getting tons of calls from this 712.429.0248 - no answer - goes to a fast busy signal in a few seconds. (also 0252, 0254, 0256) it seems to be a different outbound number each time.  The name comes across as "Celebration" - when you call it, it is a disconnected number - is this a computer generated thing??

I am sick and I mean sick and tired of these a**holes calling my number. The phone rings, I answer, sometimes no sound, sometimes a long delay and then some idiot mumbles something - regardless of what I do I cannot GET THEM TO STOP. I am sick of this, just sick of it, has been going on now for 2 months

I have actually spoken to them and they told me i was a lucky winner, i told them to not ever call me again, but that hasn't stopped them, caller ID shows the name Celebration, CAN ANYONE STOP THEM

I actually spoke them last nite. I was the winner of something from Value Benefits of South America.... I tried to get the guy to give me a number to call him back at, but as soon as i said that he hung up. The guy's name was Tom

now i'm back to getting the calls with nobody on the line. I'm hell bent on finding these clowns now....

The call was received 6-19-2008 at about 4:00PM Central time.
Said they were going to send me either  $40 or $50 in free gas vouchers, Dining Benefits, & Medical Benefits. She kept trying to get me to say OK which I never did. The girl said her name was Kim & her ID # 29865. She said that everything was free & that she was not selling anything. Asked me for the expiration date on my charge card & the type of card because she needed that to send me the free gas vouchers. I stupidly gave that information. Said all I would have to pay was $2.95 shipping & handling for all my free stuff. I told her that I was not going to pay anything for something that was free. When I asked, they gave me their phone number as 1-866-916-8814 & company name as Caller Advantage. She told me to keep my charge card in front of me because I would need it.
She then transferred me to someone else who I assume was the closer who asked me for my card number. I told her that I was not giving it out. I repeatedly refused her insistance, & she finally just hung up.
Both women had an accent that was hard to understand. I think they were in India although they said that they were in California

I continue to get calls almost daily from these people.  Like many replies posted above, I get some where they won't answer when I pick up the phone.  Others say that they are with Caller Advantage and then when I tell them that I have repeatedly asked to get off their list, they hang up on me.  Some tell me I have gotten the free vouchers.  I am already registered on the 'do not call' list !!
 
Has anyone successfully gotten these jerks to STOP calling?  I'm ready to write the Attorney General's Office in my state to complain about their harrassment.

Look up FCC on google and they have a contact person with a phone number and websight for email. Tell your caller of the $10,000 per day fine for violating the do not call list and you may get results. My callers were from Phoenix Az and they had a Pakistan type dialect. I warned my credit card company and notfied them by email. Good luck

My son is 14. Caller Advantage called our house on July 28, 2008. My son told the man that I was not able to come to the phone. The salesman told him that he would get a free playstation 3 and free gas coupons. The man asked him if he was 18 or older and he said no he wasn't. A computer voice came on and asked for a number. The man told him to say a number and after repeatedly saying the wrong number my son finally got it right.This number happened to represent a month, day, and year meant to make my son appear to be an adult age. The man also pitched a promotion for accidental insurance. Afterwards, he said that he would be receiving the playstation and the free gas coupons in two to four weeks. I found out today, August 22, 2008, that my checking account, which my son has no authorization to use, was debited several times for different amounts adding up to about $100. How did they get my debit account number? My son did not have this and has never ever done anything like this. I am currently trying to resolve this issue with the third party rep at 866-916-8814 and will pursue further action if I don't get my refund. Ultimately, my son received in his name (misspelled) a gas rebate card for accidental insurance, a membership benefits card, a gasoline redemption gift certificate, and a free trip of his choice. By the way, on July 30 I received a mysterious asking for my son. I told this person that he was not home and that he was a minor. The telemarketer apologized and the call ended. My son now has been accused of giving permission for a magazine subscription on this date even though this is the date I told them he was a minor.

Did you fill out a survey to get a $50.00 gift certificate from Mervyns. To get the 50 you have to fill out a bunch info and among them is your phone number and email so you don't get the 50 unles you sign up for advertising but they turn your info over to 50,000 telemarketers. Talk about identity theft they don't steal anything you gave it to them (like I did!!) Remember what P.T. Barnum said. The current scam is $100.00 of free gasoline for a $4.99 shipping fee put on your credit card then $49.99 per month until you can get the card company to stop them.Keep an eye on your account and dispute anything you don't know about. Caller call my residents and there was no voice on the other side they just hung up redail the number "the number is out of service" go to the search engine block and type in the number and you will get a report on this number it's in a list of TELEMARKETERS list. What they are doing is calling positive numbers and putting them on a TELEMARKERS do call list they will repeat the call oneday or more. I wish our so call HLS would do something about this its BS when you get calls that don't say nothing.

I got a new phone number and started getting these calls, same numbers as above. I really want to find out who is doing this. I'm going to blow up. I know the 712 area code is in Iowa, but this number is disconnected so I cant find out who it is.

Same problem, no one answers.  I wonder if it is the phone company.  Is everyone on here using a cable provider for their phone service?  That is what I have.  I wonder if it is a call to do something to the phone modem.

CALL SEVERAL TIMES A DAY - NO ONE ANSWER ON OTHER END

U-HAUL RELEASED MY INFORMATION!!!  I recently moved to Houston, Texas and I am getting calls from this number all hours and days.  They call on Saturday and Sunday mornings, and as late as 8:30 p.m.  I was told by an ADT operator calling me for service that when I rented a U-Haul to move, I signed a waiver releasing my new address and information.  But, I didn't have my new number at the time, so I guess they are looking up my name by address.  I haven't contacted U-Haul yet to verify, but that is the only way possible.  I am getting calls from over 7 different numbers.

Several calls...all same area code and prefix....(712) 429, followed by either of the following 0252, 0234, 0258 and 0345.
They have called me many times, including 5 times on Sunday and at 8.30 am.  I reported it to my phone company who told me to notify the police.  I did and got nowhere.....It is extremely distressing.....
