This is a Free Conference Call Number & if you are being charged extra for making any calls, then you need to call me for the access code to get on the next Conference Call.  And, if you are being charged extra fees to call me or for the conference call, the calls will be worth it. this is a conference link up and I dialed the number, my guess is various groups use the main number, and you use your confirmation number to link up. In my case, I am charged minutes, but the holder of the conference informs you up front that ld charges or minutes may be charged.  So my guess is it may depend on who is holding the conference as to what will be charged to you.  Normally, you have to call IN to this number and insert the confirmation code.

This is a conference bridge number - very common for unscrupulous conference companies to build these bridges in places with only a couple people living in town; they back-bill to your provider as long distance calls.  Its not a scam - you're the one calling them.  But ify your call doesn't complete, its not your local or LD company's fault, its because 10,000 people can't call in to a bridge where there's only capacity for 500 callers.
