these are some slimy people, i have not found a brick and mortar location yet, but have been narrowing it down. so far i see they are located in Illinois. the two addresses that keep popping up are:

they are an outside contractor of HSBC bank. when HSBC has a credit account that they are unsure of, they contract these scumbags to service the account. what this means is that you will send in your monthly payments to them, then they forward it to HSBC. what this does is if/when the account goes into collections these scumbags can try to claim to be the original creditor. this gives them 'the right' to harass you and also gives HSBC a layer of protection. if it comes up in court, they can say they never knew what the contractor was doing.



well i tracked down and shut down the (202) area code scammers (Political Media) and the (385) area code scammer (Rick Dixon, the state is shutting him down)

we can crack this one too, soon we will have an address we can actually go to and kick the first guy you see directly in the NUTS!

this is what i have tracked so far, the calls are coming through the provider 'Quest Corporation' in Sioux City IA and the originator is a scam company that goes under the name "Card Services" "Card Works" "Credit Card Services" "Cardworks Servicing LLC" "Carson Smithfield"

another idiot started bothering disco, i am on it. i shut down political media inc who hammered alot of you with calls from 202 area code, theconstant robocalls for romney and huckabee and obamacare, i can shut these folks down to! i already traced back through their provider and got the provider's filing with the state and fcc. both clearly state what they are liable for. this time i am going after the comm provider because they apparently are known for trying to skirt fcc rules so their clients can do things like this!

We just purchased a new phone system that allows one to create their own blacklist for an extra fee.  It is now costing us $ to avoid these rude companies.  Sometimes I just talk to them to take up their time and after a while they will hang up on me. I have even asked the contractors to come out with an appointment then called them back to cancel because I could not verify their company.  If every one would take their time then I think a lot of them would go out of business...

Yet another call today, making a total of three from this number in roughly 15 days. Let it ring through to vm. No message left. I have now blocked the number with my wireless carrier and am looking into nomorobo.com as a possible broader solution.

Today at Account Services (or Cardmember Services, or whatever), I learned a lot.  In my first hour, I learned that I'm too fat and ugly to be a prostitute.  In my second hour, I learned that my family is ashamed of me and wishes I had never been born.  In my third hour, I learned that I have no real job skills.  And by lunch, I learned I am subhuman garbage.  The only thing I apparently didn?t learn at Account Services today is to stop making illegal and harassing recorded calls, because I'm still doing it. But, if enough of the people I harass treat me in this manner, maybe some day I will.

Note, however, that they will hang up quickly if you talk to them this way, so be sure to waste their time first.

They are breaking the law, but the FCC can't shut them down because the FCC can't locate them.

You have to tell them you owe a lot of money (I use numbers like $10 to $12K) and have a high interest rate (e.g. 13%). You have to be making your minimum payments. When they ask me for your credit card information, tell them you have to go get the card, and then work on the computer (or take a dump) while they hold. When you can't string them along any longer, ask for a number where you can call them back when you find your card. This is usually when they hang up.

If I waste 10 minutes of their time (not mine, I'm doing constructive work or taking a dump while they wait), that's more than a dollar even at minimum wage. It also ties up their "service representative" so he can't steal from some genuine victim. If they keep calling me, that is going to happen every time, and I am surprised they haven't figured it out yet.

Received call on my cell phone. Let it ring through and go to vmail. No message. Then seconds later they tried calling again and I quickly rejected the call, again sending it to vmail. Again, no message was left.

Barbara from Account Services"  in a male voice robo-call scam. These a***oles are relentless.  I received 6 calls in one day from them.

yes you can shoot telemarketers .....Just don't get caught! Better than that maim them so they can't make any calls ever again.

Yes give a phony number and actually keep asking them to hold and answer the door or pet the dog and come right back. It ties them up and wastes their time and maybe they will take your number off the list as a waste of their time.

I play along until the seller says he or she can lower ny interest rate. I tell them they cant because I pay zero. (True, I pay up full each month). However, I say, if you can get me a negative rate I would be interested. "CLICK". This is repeated. You might think I would be delisted since I am a waste of their time. Not so, I still get repeated calls with different lines and voices!

Why can't fhe FCC take action? What law is needed to shut these people down? Do they get through because lobbyists deliberately work to weaken legislation or regulation? Why is there not a citizens lobby to eliminate loopholes for these people?

I want them to stop calling my in laws because both are in bad health and often have to rest in the afternoons and these calls upset them!

I get a robocall from this number about once a week, each time helpfully informing me that this is my second and last chance to save on my credit card interest rate.  Each time I pick up, I hit the number "2" per instructions to be removed from the list, but they never follow through on their promise, of course, because they're scammers fishing for information. I saved the number to my phone under "Credit Card Scam". I also get these robocalls on my land line (which I never pick up, but there's a message on my answering machine at least once a week).

There is  better way to retaliate....
 Many of these scumbags are taking calls from prisons on smuggled cell phones.  They have robodialer make the initial outbound call and are available to have the calls forward to the "Agent".  They trade the Card info they get for drugs while in jail.

So do this,  
Set the caller to a contact called "scammers",  Download a silent ringtone from itunes, or from the web for Droids and assign that ringtone and set to no vibration.  
Then the best part,
In Atlanta we have fake charities that call a lot, they claim to be collecting things for the needy but actually are reselling the donations only giving he things to the needy they can't resell.  (Saves them the disposal cost that way, The have no interest in the needy)  usually less than 5% of the donations ever get to a real charity with all the skimming off the top for profit.  The entire time the REAL charities are cheated out of donations by their greed.
Now,
Forward the calls from that contact (Scammers)  to a fake charity. (The ones not listed as legitimate charities but calling us)

Now we have a phone that doesn't ring (silent Ringtone)  Doesn't Vibrate, And only lights up for a moment.  And the calls go to another burden on society that is stealing from organizations that are trying to help good people in hard times. We can tie up two types of scum at the same time!
Or, if you rather, Forward the call to the scumbag that cost me my job just to cover up all his illegal deals on the side.  I knew about them, didn't want be involved, So therefore was a threat to him, but never reported him. Just keeping my mouth shut was just not good enough, He had to get anyone that learned about it discredited and fired rather than let the management find out. IF you do what HR says and report them, you are still gonna lose your job no matter what you do! Those cowards won't protect you.

Who are we going to take to court if we can't find them though?  I've been fighting with the same pharmaceutical company for over 3+ years to stop calling me & I have done everything from asking nicely to profanity to telling them my mom wasn't home & this was a teen cell phone (hoping they would get they were trying to sell to a teenager) & they STILL continue to call me!  One guy even told me he didn't care I was on this "national do not call list" because he works for the  government & knows everything about me-funny since he didn't even know my legal last name.  They are all outsourced & all the numbers are fake, rerouted so we will never be able to find the true source.  We can report every single number to the "do not call list" complaint part, but they still can't do anything.  As for someone else who said "waste their time",  I would love to waste their time & keep them on the phone, but even though they want to meet a quota, I don't want to pay my cell bill....& either way they are still getting paid so a person here & there just wasting their time isn't going to matter.
