Call comes in every two to three days on cell phone...  caller ID lists it as an Iowa number.  I don't answer it.

I've had unauthorized billing from Grantsearch and Ongenius! Had to change my card number and files reports to the BBB. Still nothing is being done about it!

on 6-04-2007 number came up on the caller ID- I quickly picked it up and was hung-up on.
approximately 4 hours later the phone rings and I pick it up and again they hang up on me. I wait another 2hours and again I see 712 9450186 on the Caller ID I pick it up and again they hang up without speaking so i rejected the number and they are now calling 6 times a day.

This number calls me as often as every 2 hours some days. I don't answer, tho on one occasion I did tell them I'm on the Do-Not-Call List, I consider their calls to all be Harassment, Don't Ever Call Again, that I'd report/reported ALL calls (caller ID also tells the time of call) to the FTC (click the FILE A COMPLAINT link at https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx ).  I do report every time, and write the date/time.  If they don't quit, I also told them I will consider filing a lawsuit for financial damages for the Harassment.  -- The more who turn in complaints, the sooner they should get shut down & fined.

I too have been solicited by this number. I was told it was in regard to gov't grants. I did make an inquiry from an emailer that I recieved, but it was for printed information.

I already asked the same young lady not to call me again, but they keep calling, if I do not pick up there is never a message just a nother call later in the day. Tried to call back and was placed on auto hold.

What can I do to get these people to stop calling me?

I answered thinking it was a call I was expecting.  It was from Overnight Genius, a product available from eBay.  They said they were following up on my purchase and I told them I had never heard of their company and haven't ordered anything online.  Without another word, the lady hung up.  I checked my online banking and they had charged my check card for $4.87 as ONGENIUS.COM.  I reported it as fraud and the charge was removed.  I cancelled my check card.

I'm receiving several calls to my cell phone from this phone number.  When I answer nobody talks.  Getting annoying.  Most calls are received during afternoon hours.

I appreciated your comments, I just received a phone call from the same number, and I did not know that putting out my phone number online the very few times I did for what I thought would be a reputable business would cause me to receive so many late night phone calls from all over the U.S. I also didn't think to put in a number for my disposable phone. Thank you for the info.

I have received several calls a day from this number, if I do pick up, no one is there and the phone is dead. I am so tired of this. They call all hours of the day and night.

Received several calls, no message on voicemail.

I have received 2 calls on my cell phone each day this week from this number.  I was away from  my phone when they called and they didn't leave a message.  The first time I saw it i called and was immediately put on hold for several minutes.  By the time I got a real person I explained that I received a call from this number and wanted to know who they were.  They said they were some sort of government unclaimed property.  I asked how they got my number and the operator mumbled something I couldn't understand.  I asked that they remove my number from their calling list and never call me again.  Obviously, that didn't work because I am still getting at least 2 calls a day.

I called back this phone number . . .ITS another fly by night sales number, newly in IOWA . . have reported my phone number to them as a registred DO NOT CALL listed phone number, boy !! I hope they call me
back soon . . am sure an attorney will be glad to call them back, see
why they seem to want to just pick up the phone and start dialing,
SOMEONE forgot to tell them about the National reg. DO NOT Call list.

And the calls continue! 8:45 am again this morning, just like yesterday. And just an hour ago.
Just the # shows on my caller ID.
I haven't answered any of the calls. Don't know who they are, just want them to stop. I'd call from my cell to find out but I sure dont want them to have another #!

I got a call from this # @ 9:30 last night and again at 8:45 this morning. I don't know anyone in this area code. They leave no # on the answering maching.
It is very annoying especially since I work late and everyone who knows me knows not to call that early.

I have not picked up, but this number calls my number at least 12 times a day.  When the anwering machine picks up, they hang up.  Unreal! And very disrespectful.

As I write this I am currently on hold calling the number back. They called my cell phone which I do not use as a primary number and I googled it and got to this page. Obviusly they are a**holes so I think I will give them a taste of their own medicine. - Weird - the foreign girl took all of my bogus information and said I would be receiving a call back to verify all of my stuff and get my credit card number to pay $1.98 S/H for a Free governmnt grant kit!!!!! Comes with a personal coach and everything! I guess I should have given her my real number.

SO strange, I received two calls today.  The first I answered and it was about the same thing.  I told her I made no inquiry about a ebay business and she hung up.  Then another call later this evening.

This number appeared on my cell phone caller ID twice today so I called it back this evening after work to find out who it was.

The guy who answered the phone answered it like this:
"This is the Corporate Office, how may I help you?"

I asked him to explain what corporate office. He said they are the Corporate Office of Government Grants. I told him I saw their number on my caller ID and I was returning their call. He told me they were calling in regards to some Government Grants thing. They claimed I had requested information and he asked me if I was still interested in receiving information. I told him I did not want any information. The guy said "OK, thank you." and he hung up. It was not an unpleasant exchange, the guy seemed friendly and polite. I forgot to ask him to remove my number so I'm sure they'll call back again - and then I can ask to be removed.

I have been receiving calls from this number & have not picked up since I have no idea who this fool is. Since I have not picked up they have made several relentless calls a day for the past 30 days. I guess this is a lesson for the majority of us. Buy a disposable phone when entering telephone information on the internet because regardless of what site say's they sell your personal information and you will be hounded forever from idiots all over the world. I did have an account on EBAY but I closed it when someone attempted to hack into our PayPal account. As I was typing this, I received another call within 5 minutes. This person said they were trying to give me information regarding government grants. I found it ironic that I just watched a GOVERMENT GRANT RIP-OFF show this morning. I told the ?Call Center? girl to take me off their call list.  Apparently their business was not valid enough for them to leave a call back number or a courtesy voice-mail.

I get 2 - 3 calls a day. I recognize the number and don't answer it. It will eventuall y stop.

I keep rcving calls from this # also, I went to the "donotcall.gov" website to file a complaint & it stated that 712-945-0186 was reported to them on 04/28/07 & a complaint could not be filed against them until after 05/29/07. They call 2-3 times daily.

These people call me 8 times a day says GRANTSEARCHAID, I never answer, but they call non stop!!!

THIS PLACED A CALL TO MY CELL PHONE.IT'S A BRAND NEW NUMBER AND I DON'T GIVE IT OUT. I DON'T WANT THE NUMBER 1-712-945-0186 TO BE ABLE TO CALL ME EVER AGAIN.
