Got a call today and didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer. When I called back it said the company name was sysco unity messaging. I do have verizon and have had problems recently but this number left no message.

We don't have and have never had any service from Verizon. Also don't have a GE credit card. Three calls from this number while we were out, recorded by caller ID. No message left. No doubt a scam. Will give someone an earful if I happen to be here next time they call.

This one appears to legitimately be Verizon tech support in Houston. We had trouble re-activating my daughter's stolen phone when it was recovered, and they got it straightened out for us.

Got calls/hang ups 3 x today from this #. I have an A T & T phone. They left no message, but I called it back from a a blocked # and all I heard was people laughing. Must be some bizarre scam marketing.

it was verizon. i had been on the phone with customer service earlier today & a couple of hours later they were calling back because they noticed several of my phones were eligible for upgrades & wanted to know if i wanted to upgrade anything today.

Just an FYI from someone in Houston area, u only have half the story right...832 came about to handle overflow but didn't replace either and any of them can be cell phones so the boundaries originally established at the beltway no longer apply. Thought u might like to know :)

My cell phone shows two missed messages from 713-219-7180 but I did not miss any calls from this number. I have family in Houston so it was really confusing but they always call on my two land lines and not my cell.

This is a Tech Support number. They call back to see whether your problem's been resolved or not. (And they keep calling until you call back.)

Yes, Verizon Wireless. On July 10, 2011, while troubleshooting a problem with my DroidX, a tech called me from that number. I was expecting the call and he solved the problem.

This is a number Verizon calls from to verify your phone is working.
I had a technical problem with our new phone service (2 line family plan) and called Verizon Technical support regarding the phones. They reprogrammed the first phone and got it working so I could go on a business trip.
Early the next morning the technician called me from this number (7132197180) and asked to finish reprogramming the second phone.
They are calling just to check that your phone is working, sometimes it may be an automated call which may be why you didn't get a voice-mail, or answer.

I got a call from this number, but they claimed to be from AllTel. They were "calling regarding my account". I have never had an account with them, so I'm guessing this is some kind of scam number.

I received a call from 713-219-7180. They said they were from Verizon Wireless. I was not able to verify this information. This was at 8:00 p.m. on a Sunday night. When I called the toll free Verizon number, they are closed till Monday.

Its either the FBI or the CIA or some department like that.
You're being spied on probably due to something you posted online at some particular time.
Because area code 713 NO LONGER EXISTS.
On November 2, 1996, area code 713 was split into two parts divided by Beltway 8, for the most part. Addresses inside the beltway kept the 713 area code while those outside the beltway were assigned the new 281 area code. Later, on January 16, 1999, area code 832 was created as an overlay for the entire combined area.
The former 281/713 boundary was "erased", and new phone numbers may be assigned as any of the three area codes regardless of physical location.

it is Verizon. I needed help activating a phone and they called me back on this number to make sure it went okay.
| LB 2011-06-06 20:55:09 Unknown |
Yes, it's Verizon Technical Support.

Number called my cell phone and then hung up, if they call back I'll be sure to "give em heck" for everyone.
| ducati 2011-06-06 20:55:09 Unknown |
clearly you all own money to someone, or have something else to hide stop being so paranoid. Its simply a Verizon wireless number that calls to verify the phone is working after changes have been made. Like activating a new phone or changing your plan.

It's Verizon Wireless. I was on a call with them, hung up, and they tried to call me back. Verified.
